Escalator needs fixing for sure. Rooms need to be maintained - in my 3 nights stay I needed to ring maintenance twice; once for a non functioning flush and once because my aircond in the room started humming loudly.

Very good hotel. Efficient service and friendly.
Only negative would be the lift took time to go down as stopped for lots of people. But otherwise it was excellent.

The location is the best bang upon Oxford street great places to shop and dine in just walking distance very well connected with metro and bus station

A great hotel, lifts really need sorting out but a great location just off Oxford Street and right by Marble Arch tube station. Breakfast was lovely too.

I booked a std double room after staying previously in a std twin room, the room I got was so tiny I was shocked l, the tv was tiny, there were no complimentary pop corn, it hadn’t been set up properly. I paid the same as a friend staying in the same room type and theirs was very different. I’m disappointed, probably won’t stay again.

I cannot say enough about how filthy and unhygienic Thistle Hotel Marble Arch is. My family was very disappointed with the uncleanliness of the hotel rooms and hallways, not to mention the awful odor of the old carpets in the rooms and hallways.
The housekeeping service was below standard. Housekeeping lacked attention to details in keeping the rooms clean and making sure that all the necessary items in the bathroom replenished. Also, there was hair present in the bathtubs on multiple occasions. Also, the bedsheets and bed covers were not clean and showed old stains. The beds did not have the clean smell that an average 4 star hotel would have.
Housekeeping was not efficient when requesting clean towels or additional water bottles. The wait was quite lengthy at times.
During the check in process, we requested an additional bed but it took many hours to arrive.. We had two connecting rooms.
Quite simply I would not stay at The Thistle Hotel in the future.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay here! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with all the amenities I could need.

This hotel is almost perfect if not Becos the lift is not in service to accommodate the number of guests. You will need to queue up everyday u go out or
Come back to hotel. U need 10-15 mins extra for

The man in glasses at reception is super rude when we arrive to check in. We were a frustrated Becos of the 15 hours long haul flight for us to arrive to London plus 1 hour taxi ride. Poor service when check in.
No one will tell u there is a lift from
Ground floor to reception floor with luggage. U neee to explore yourself.

Room is very basic but location wise is plus point. Able to slightly early check in. Got a nice cafe at the lobby which is helpful if need to buy a cup of coffee. Housekeeping is ok and they do the cleaning for our stays.

Worst hotel ever being a regular guest from past 10 year booking up to 10 rooms each stay, they treated as they dont know me, paid for the breakfast though trip.com and missing my morning breakfast need to wait up to half hr for only 2 lift servicing the whole hotel... they say not their problem as breakfast paid to trip.com
Don't trip.com pay them for breakfast they charge us?
Also they don't want to give any better rooms or benefits as they been giving to me in the past as a regular guest.... they told me to book directly if want to enjoy their free perks......
Room door was broken... the head of house keeping told me off first day didn have time to see and will do later?? When ? When I check out?
Each time open the door there is a load banging sound
The kettle was disgusting there where black stuff floating all over when I boil the water, so unhygienic they don't wanna give me extra water too and want to charge me can you believe it?...
Someone in the early morning barged into my door I got scared for my safety.... I went to tell the manager downstairs and he told me off it's your problem that's what the dnd sign is for....
Can you believe the audacity the manager with glasses name jerre have toward their loyal guest...
Didn't care attitude at all
I felt this trip wasn't worth even a dollar

Amazing housekeeping team. Amara and Drissel is amazing in particular. The room is so tidy and clean every single day. Unfortunately the room is very very old. Shower hose in the bathtub in room 579 is broken. The shower cubicle is 1m x 1m so very small and the seal was broken so water leaked everywhere. There is a slow lift.
