Premier Inn London County Hall recensioner

We stayed here for one night and it was perfect for exploring London, The room was a good asize with a very comfortable bed.

The room was fine. The standard Premier Inn room. The hotel itself was looking a bit tired and in need of a coat of paint in the common areas. The shower in the room had great pressure but the fixing was broken, and the overhead rain shower was leaking so that when you turned it on it sprayed water all over the room. So I had to use the hand shower which I had to hold as the holder was broken. Room was clean. I was at a conference in the same building so the location was very convenient. It is close to Waterloo station and right next to the Thames and Westminster bridge so would be great if you were a tourist.

special thanks to the guy at the reception of Indian origin who very quickly checked us in and gave us the important information we needed. We also found our room very quickly, when we entered it really smelled clean. the beds were made up impeccably, the bathroom was very well cleaned, the bathroom floor impressed me that it was really very well cleaned

For a Premier Inn, the County Hall hotel is pretty great. Its location is perfection, sitting directly next to The London Eye, Westminster Bridge and the various attractions along the embankment. The hotel itself is still going through a refurbishment process and the rooms are great. At the risk of sounding rude to Premier Inn, they’re more like a ‘proper’ hotel than the typical PI offering. Quality decor and decent space. The only thing that’s still reminiscent of your run-of—the-mill Premier Inn is the bathroom. Yes, the toiletries are of a higher quality but they still have noisy extractors, sprung doors that you can’t keep open, and ho-hum fittings. The bar and breakfast area are pretty good too (for a Premier Inn), and there are nice views from the windows. As with most Premier Inns, there are nowhere near enough staff and everyone seems to be doing three jobs simultaneously. Despite this, the County Hall Hotel is recommended for its combination of location, quality and price.

Regularly stay at this hotel , 2/3 times a year … Paid for an upgrade this time , £20 extra for a room with views of London , absolute rip off … windows filthy , and side on view of the London Eye … the room was number 404 , it was huge , so big the heater unit done nothing to the temperature of the room , the tv was so far away you couldn’t hear it on max volume and the bathroom was tiny in comparison to the room …. The layout definitely needs looking at , and the hotel could do with a refurbishment , however it is very handy and central , just very tired in appearance……

Great hotel close to the London Eye, Hop on Hop Off busses, a small grocery store and multiple tube locations. You can get here with luggage from the airport on the tube/train without using steps (bonus.) No frills but the price is right. Only negative as the terrible internet (and we had the premium room as well.)

We were welcomed with a streamlined check-in, we arrived a little early and the receptionist did not miss a beat. The lifts were swift, the staff obliging in a quiet location. There is a dining room with a very reasonably priced meal deal for dinner and breakfast next morning. A great menu with delicious variety of food. Located close to London Eye easy to walk to some attractions but easy to catch Ubers, Or walk to the Waterloo station. A quiet hotel with friendly staff and spacious layout. You can opt out of daily cleaning if desired.

The only positive from my recent stay at this Premier Inn whilst the size of my room… It was huge. Other than that a very disappointing stay, the check-in experience was very poor and you are expected to do everything yourself on a large touchscreen yet to be charged £15 for the privilege. The Wi-Fi was very intermittent and most of the time did not work, the staff are all miserable and really do not want to be at the hotel. Have breakfast a lot of staff but stood doing nothing and not clearing up. Overall, a very disappointing stay, definitely not value for money and I will not be returning
