The resort was well located across the street from the Gulf of Mexico, with a public beach access right there. It's about mid-way between areas with restaurants, but near a grocery store. It was a quiet location. The building and furnishings were worn, but the unit was huge with all the necessry household items to make your stay effortless. Great swimming pool. Tennis and pickleball court, so bring your own paddle or racket and balls

2 bedroom/2 bath, 1600 sf of condo made for a relaxing vacation. Bay/manatee views in the back balcony and ocean view in the front. This is a small, cozy resort with convenient assigned parking spaces(oversized) for each unit. April trip and we saw manatees in the private dock area on 3 days of our week.

I think this Condo is a Gem. My only concern is that the beds in unit 204 need a upgrade. The King, and two twins. They did not sleep well. The location is A+ The unit had a stacked Washer and dryer. That is so nice. Pack light as you can wash clothes. Big living room area. Beautiful covered porch to sit in mornings. A drip coffee maker. Both bathrooms were clean and working well. Dishwasher was top tier. Refrigerator had filtered water and ice machine. Kitchen had lots of utensils and plates, pots, pans. There is a Publix 2 miles to the left of complex. Breakfast and lunch can be for sure completed in kitchen. We ate dinner in local area. Wow are the places to eat top notch. St Armand’s circle has so many places to eat. Top notch. I found two sweet spots. Local places: Owen’s Fish Camp. Wow what a dinner. Breakfast place is the Breakfast House: 1817 Fruitville Rd Sarasota, FL 34236 United States. Historic area. Walt’s is a Sarasota Sea food place- 1918. Siesta Key Village has about 40 plus places to eat. We visited Coquina Beach one day. Very nice. Take a right out of condo complex and drive and site see. The Condo complex has umbrellas and chairs to take across the street to the beach. Very nice. Complex has two grills to use for lunches or dinner. The pool area was great. Hot tub all maintained well. The maintenance man Ricky was great. Friendly and responsive. The office staff was great. Great visit.

I’ll start with the positives! The staff are friendly and helpful! The pool area is very nice and clean. The bikes are great and the property is quiet. The location is spectacular! Beach access steps away and great restaurants nearby. We stayed in Unit 202. Apparently these are time shares. I’m not sure if all the units are as “tired” as this one. The condo had a substantial musty odor which didn’t go away even with doors wide open and scented candle burning for the whole stay. The furniture is chipped, stained and worn, mattresses are thin and uncomfortable, bedding is bare basics, bring your own pillows! The drapes are moldy and gross. The beach chairs provided are musty, rusted and some are broken. I would say the unit was “clean” but it just felt a little icky. We kept saying “this place would be fabulous with a little TLC”! I assume the negatives are the reason we were able to book last minute and rent for only one week. One week rentals are hard to find on the island. Overall, this is a 2-star property. We won’t be back unless they do some serious updating.

The apartment is very spacious, all is provided for a good start in! Loved the care, cleanliness and space. Bicycles, beach equipment, good read available. Close to the beach and local coffee shop next door. Loved seeing manatees from the balcony ! The deco of the apartment is well outdated, old lift but it is super clear and well looked after. E enjoyed our stay and comfort of everything with a reach!

Thank you for providing a relaxed and quality atmosphere. Your staff is the perfect combination to your ideally located units.The beautiful bay view and easy access to the fabulous sandy beach makes Longboat Bay Club a treasure in waiting ! My daughter joined us from Indianna and believed that she didn't like Florida but reluctantly left saying she wished that she lived here !

Love visiting Longboat Bay Club. Beautiful property! Relaxing Vacation every time I visit. Perfect location with access to beach across the street. We see Manatees in the bay every visit!

I have stayed at this venue for the last 15 years and have had some great times, however it is in need of a face lift Staff are always polite and helpful Needs a refurbishment as soon as possilble
