We wanted to extend our stay at the hotel, but unfortunately, we had to move to a different room without an ocean view. Suddenly, we noticed that the windows and doors in the new room showed significant signs of wear and tear, which was quite disappointing. We planned to check out at 11:00, but the hotel insisted on a 10:00 checkout, which felt inconvenient. On the other hand, check-in wasn’t allowed before 14:00, adding to the frustration. While the location and initial experience were promising, these issues affected our overall impression. There’s definitely room for improvement in service and room quality.

This was a lovely hotel, the buffet breakfast had lots of variety and the beds were very comfy. It was right next to the beach, shops and coastal walk so it was ideally located.

We booked two rooms—one was a standard room without a kitchen, while the other included a kitchen and a seating area. Both rooms were accessible through a shared entryway, which also had a laundry room with a washer and dryer. This setup was convenient as each couple could enjoy their own private space while gathering in one place to cook and share meals. The expansive lawn visible from the living room was often visited by large parrots, creating a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Although the facilities showed some signs of aging and were not as pristine as new, they were well-maintained and fully functional. The washer and dryer were very convenient, and the bathroom featured a jacuzzi-style bathtub, which was a great addition. I loved the open view created by the glass doors on both sides of the living room.

Absolutely stunning hotel on the beach with delicious breakfast included. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Good location. Near plenty of food options nearby. Friendly and homely neighbourhood! Size of room is tad small but doable for 2 pax. Excellent hotel breakfast!!!

Hotel was great, breakfast and s excellent However, I don’t like that I booked for Oceanview room through booking with a great deal, but when I arrived to check in, they give me a classic garden view and say that booking is over sold the room.  I visited during winter months so it’s what not busy at all. I feel robbed because if I pay for Oceanview, I should get an ocean view room So be careful when booking and check-in.

We recently stayed at Mantra Lorne hotel to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay special. Upon arrival, the receptionist surprised me with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates in honor of my birthday. The thoughtful gesture made my day even more memorable. The room was clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view of the surroundings. The amenities were top-notch, and the hotel’s location made it easy to explore the beautiful area. I highly recommend Mantra Lorne for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I can’t wait to return!

Great location, rooms good be updated. Close to everything.

Gym and spa are free and 24 hours, quite good to spend time here. Staff are helpful. Clean and today room, just a bit old, countryside style, which is normal as this is a thousand population town. Breakfast is nice!

We stayed at Mantra as a family in the beachfront apartments. Everything was clean and presentable upon arrival. The view from the balcony was refreshing. We felt cozy and at home. The location is superb only a short walk to the beach (literally within steps) and to the Lorne shops. Although we didn't utilize the restaurant and swimming pool facilities it was nice to know we could do so, and it was close to the apartments. The scenery in the courtyard was also beautiful. We felt safe and welcomed. The hotel staff were understanding and accommodating towards additional requests and did their best to help.

This is a good motel for holidays. i like the bath tube and the spa. Food is a Aussie typical one, quality of food is about standard. Parking is easy and this is a good location.
