HG Tenerife Sur

Fantastic staff, room cleaned and bed changed daily, stayed in 1 bed apartment room 51 had massive wrap around balcony with table and chairs and sun loungers. Fully equipped kitchen and dining table to fit 4 in sitting room. Pool view and could see the sea. Lifts in the big main block never had to wait. Bars and restaurants across road, taxi rank outside, great restaurant and shop on site good prices. Takeaways across road can get Chinese pizza kebabs Indian and Cristian sur hotel across road has the best home made pies, sausage rolls, quiche sandwiches all very cheap. Heated pool. Beds are locked away til certain time and people are queuing to wait to get beds but always somewhere to get one of up by 9am. Can have floats in the pool which is great as some hotels / apartments don’t let you. Can take own food and drink round the pool. Has designated smoking areas around the apartments. 10 mins walk to beach very easy walk no big hills. I got electric scooters which parking place is out back outside aquamar and always loads there. stayed here from 2nd of June for 11 Nights requested pool view when we got there we were given a room facing the road on the second floor below was a skip that was being filled with rubble very early in the mornings deliveries in the surrounding areas start at 7AM every day except Sunday with trucks cars motor bikes passing the hotel which was very loud asked to be moved but never came back to us being a light sleeper i was up from 7AM every day and going to bed early to try and get a couple of hours sleep before the noise started again cleaning was done 10 of the 11 days which was very good we would normaly stay in the Aguamar Apartments which is 100 feet away that all Apartments are facing the pool will be going back again in October but not to this Hotel

Brilliant hotel doesn't deserve the bad reviews excellent location, fastest and most efficient check in ever! The place is spotless apartments large cleaned daily. Lovely pastries in onsite shop for breakfast reasonably priced. Close to beach and night life. We didn't struggle to get a sun bed not sure why they queue up we didn't have a problem at all.

Nice little hotel, prime location. Harriet’s for breakfast is one minute walk away. Taxis outside hotel all the time and bus station is also a minute or two walk away. On arrival the man on reception appeared to be rude and unfriendly. Not very helpful and there’s no assistance for help with luggage up 3 flights of stairs as there’s no lift or ramps anywhere in the hotel. Pool area looks lovely but we never even attempted to get a sun bed as everyone queues up and waits for them to be released. People even waiting under the parasols where they want to drag their bed to when they eventually get one and as per the ‘norm’ everyone places their towel down on the bed and disappears for hours before coming back and using the sunbed. Rooms are clean but dated. On checking out the maid had everything piled up outside our room waiting to dive in as soon as we left. Check out was 12 but we left around 9.30 and she was in there straight away 😂 If for any reason you can’t have a late check out time then case can be left in locked luggage room BUT on the other side of the hotel is the shower and changing area which then means dragging your luggage up and down steps again which is quite annoying. Only had breakfast here which was lovely.

Its sound this for a little budget holiday. The rooms are clean a bit dated but not to the extent of it causing any issues. No air-conditioning so in the middle of summer can imagine its tough to sleep. Cleaned every day and maids are lovely always say hello. Pool area is lovely main problem is some of the guests being to fat and lazy to get up and put stuff in the bin. The sunbed situation is annoying and should be a better way of doing things but just have to roll with it. Location good to explore los cristanos. Singers in the bar every night are funny crap proper throw back. Bar prices very reasonable as is the supermarket in the hotel. There us an older life guard who is a bit of main character complex syndrome type so watch out days he is on as he likes to only allow some fun not lots of fun😂. Good little hotel...Harriets for breakfast just 1 min walk away is a must.

HG Tenerife Sur Was amazing we were on the top floor with a amazing view - On site pool, Los Cristianos, Planes coming in , Mountains and more there was beautiful music all around with a amazing surrounding with a local shop on site and shops like Minimarket HC There is also a amazing baguette shop nearby But Everyday when we would go out there are maids that come to do your bedding, window cleaning, Floor cleaning and whatever more you get given keycards to go into your room as well which is handy I really love Tenerife and HG Tenerife sur I really recommend it and can’t wait to go again
