Beautiful rooms, resort, dining and wonderful experiences onsite. The location is on the main Grand Ave in Los Olivos, allowing you to walk to all wineries or simply stay at the resort with all the amenities you'd need for a lovely stay, including spa, dining, pool, experiences, wine tastings, farmers market, etc.

Staying at Mattei's Tavern is a truly special experience. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and the beds are the softest! I particularly enjoyed our additional tub in the living space. Don't miss out on your own personal fire pit!

A casual, but pitch perfect resort. Everything is as pictured on their website, the staff is incredibly warm, the food is delicious and the amenities are pristine. The olive oil infusion experience was an unexpected highlight. Can't wait to visit again!

This is definitely a place you go with friends or people who have the same taste in vacationing or adventure as you do. The town feels unreal. It feels like a movie set the activities that you do are so engaging and interactive. It just feels like an unreal experience for a very long time with the opportunity to just even stare at the beautiful backdrop for it all.

Our stay at Mattei's Tavern was amazing. Magnificent room with well-appointed details and an amazing terrace that included a firepit where we made some smores on one of the nights. The service overall was great, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food at the Tavern is amazing also. Totally recommend staying at the Inn at Mattei's tavern when visiting Los Olivos.

Awesome room, pool, amenities and spa. Loved the massage! Infusing our own olive oil with their garden herbs was really fun. The easy to walk to the town of Los Olivos offers wonderful wine tasting and shops. Food at the Inn was average so had to give 4-stars instead of 5. All and all we had a wonderful visit. I would go there again.

The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern is one of my top 5 places to stay in the world. I love every single thing about this property—the decor, the setting, the grounds, the staff, the rooms, the restaurant, the bar. Staying here is just pure heaven and therapy. You could just stay and enjoy the property but there are also so many fun places and activities to enjoy all around, it’s always a tough choice. The staff is for sure the friendliest I’ve ever been. And don’t miss the food at the tavern.

Get ready to feel welcomed when you check-in. Service was very congenial and friendly. I just felt my shoulders drop when we pulled in. The rooms are perfection! The interior design, quality products and hardware - so great! The beds, pillows and mattress are outstanding for a wonderful night's rest. Each room has an outdoor patio with firepit and comfortable chairs. Bathroom is very well appointed - quality hairdryer too. Steamer provided. Don't overlook the onsite activities, Historic Walking Tour, Yoga, Olive Oil Infusion, etc. Such nice touches, like the treat at your bedside each night (lavender bouquet, cookies). Walking through Los Olivios was a treat, so many places where you can sample wine or meander around and shop - try Le Cote Bar for dinner. Head over to their hotel coffee bar for a great latte or you can use the Nespresso Maker in your rooms. Looking forward to a return visit.

Service was top-notch; the staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive.
