Good if you want to be close to the Fortress of Louisbourg, but that's it. Staff were very friendly, but hard to find and didn't answer the phone. The rooms are mostly clean, but the beds are very hard and the pillows old, flat and hard. The bathroom had mildew or black mold in the tub, and there was an area on the floor near a bed that squished with water when we walked across it, with a bad smell as well. We tried to find someone to let them know, but nobody was to be found and nobody answered the phone. Dinner is available from the bar attached to the motel, and they offer what they called a "continental breakfast" but was really just coffee/tea, watery orange drink, plain packets of oatmeal, Rice Krispies or Corn Flakes, toast, and weird egg patties. The town itself is pretty, or must have been once. I'm guessing the Pandemic hit them hard, because everything is closed up and empty. There were two cafes, one open and one closed, a convenience store, and the railway museum. Otherwise it was a ghost town, there was nothing else to do in the area.
