Courtyard Boulder Broomfield

Old and dirty place. Small rooms. Needs a renovation. Walls are so thin you hear you neighbors snoring. Horrible. Will not stay here again. They also tried to put us in a smaller room than we booked. We booked a room with two queens and they gave us one queen and a pull out. The are other options very close so choose wisely.

I recently hosted out of town visitors who stayed here (in 2 rooms). One had to change their assigned room as soon as they stepped inside. Both complained that the place was old and sad in appearance, dirty and not up to Marriott standards. They always stay at Marriott brand hotels and this was a big disappointment. I have also noticed when staying at Courtyard hotels elsewhere that this has been the case, and hoped that my experience was an anomaly. Apparently not.

5 stars for Norma in the cafe! This is a reasonably-priced hotel with sufficiently clean rooms. The lobby cafe serves breakfast and Starbucks coffee - it gets very busy, especially around CU Boulder's move-in weekend. The whole operation is being held together by one person - Norma. On three mornings, we watched her handle huge crowds turning out fresh, hot meals faster than you would think possible. The location of this hotel is convenient, right off the freeway, not far from CU Boulder campus. Target & Whole Foods are nearby.

What I liked: * Great location with restaurants within walking distance. * Quiet * Easy Parking * Fast check-in and check-out. * Professional and courteous staff * Excellent housekeeping with room well cleaned and prepared upon arrival * Cozy and spacious The only thing I would like it to be done differently is increase the hot water temperature a bit more. It was not hot enough. Poor soundproof is very common in almost all hotels in North America and Europe. But thoughtful neighbors and the hotel did a good job keeping the noise level down and managed effectively and thoughtfully, which I I appreciated. This is a decent hotel with reasonable price point.

Stayed here over a weekend. It is all one expects from a Marriott Courtyard. Clean, comfortable room. Good shower. Quiet. Actually, it was very quiet. Not luxurious but not at all cheap. Courteous, attentive staff. Fine, no -- very good, Boulder County location. If I come this way again, I'll probably stay here.

Don't bother staying here. There are many places with better options for a lot less. Disappointing in nearly every way. Lots of promised ammentities, yet almost none available or working. We booked a room for 4 adults, and made it very clear at booking, yet got a king bed and a pullout couch. Asked front desk for two queens, and she could care less, even though the place was at best 20% full. It would have been simple to give us a more accommodating room, (we did pay for it, after all) but she didn't care. Outdoor fire pit doesn't work, and the outdoor furniture has wasps nests underneath. This makes the outdoor sitting area pretty much unusuable, as the wasps present a danger of bee sting. I mentioned both the wasp problem and the fire pit problem to front desk, and again, they did not care, saying, "I'll tell maintenance tomorrow". Sure... They'll come in special on Sunday to kill bees and fix the gas leak on the fire pit. BTW... You can smell the gas from the outdoor fire pit. It just does not light. That has to be a code violation everywhere.... This place was highly disappointing, and the front desk really doesn't care. Wish I had booked someplace else for our last night. WAY oversold for the price and what is delivered.

The service was excellent, but the room was disappointing. The beds were lumpy, the pillows would not hold shape, and the bathroom was terrible. The tub finish was chipping. The toilet was child size and difficult to use for adults. Do not recommend...

Nice. clean hotel. Comfy bed. Very helpful staff. I left a t-shirt in my room and Tammi was responsive and very helpful in getting my t-shirt sent back to me. Would certainly stay here again and would recommend to others.

The hotel is clean, has great amenities, great breakfast, an outstanding pool, beautiful outdoor courtyard, and is conveniently located and surrounded by great restaurants, and the staff were all exceptional! Tammie at the front desk was always so helpful and nice and the gentleman, who had actually just started working at the café, was so nice and had outstanding customer service. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms, especially the one with the balcony, were so warm and inviting! We highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.
