Emcasa Boutique Guesthouse

Our time at Emcasa Boutique Guesthouse was a true dream! The place is very clean and tastefully furnished and everything is arranged with lots of love for beauty, quality and details. We enjoyed our breakfast (healthy and tasty and not the same every day) outside with a view on the sunny pool sparkling in the sun in front of lovely green hills. The service was warm and professional at the same time, everything was well thought through and I truely can not think of one thing to criticize. The place is so full of beauty and peace that it was hard to leave - even for a day trip to discover the near surrounding. Luckily, the quiet long beach with strong waves, beautiful sea shells and even fossiles is just 5 minutes away and easy to reach. Besides, there is a lot to do, to see and to taste in the region. Ronny and Timo provide an app which gives nice ideas for activities and retaurants. There is just one thing I regret, I didn't try enough of the great selection of wines at the honesty bar in the evenings. Maybe next time I will do better... :) Thank you very much for the amazing, recreative time in your house!

Great Find! Ronnie is a most pleasant host. Modern yet comfy room and common area. Delicious breakfast! Way better the normal fare. Offers the best IPA I found in Portugal. 1/4 mile walk to a beautiful beach. The property is nicely layed out. Attention to detail in every facet to the boutique hotel. Close to Obidos and Peniche. Will return.

Our 6 nights stay at Emcasa cannot be summarized in a TripAdvisor comments. It was perfection. From the guesthouse studied design, to the pristine pool, the attentions of the hosts, to the food they serve. Everything was up to the standard you expect from a boutique guesthouse. It is fashionable without loosing the cosy and familial atmosphere of a guesthouse. We even had a massage! The garden, preserved with craftsmanship, has a breathtaking view on a forestry valley covered with eucalyptus trees, neighboring some vegetables fields… Perfect place to relax and discover this interesting region of Portugal.

Emcasa is a wonderful gated guest house, with beautiful gardens, grounds and a stunning pool all with a wonderful view of the natural surroundings. Breakfast was served in the outdoor sun room. An offering of menu items were complimented with a fresh juice option, a tantalizing amuse-bouche and a selection of breads and sweets. All plates were well prepared and presented. Our room reflected the attention and care taken by our hosts to provide an exceptional experience for their guests. Daily housekeeping is discretely provided while guests enjoy breakfast. Ronnie is a great host. From meeting us upon our arrival for check-in, to serving breakfast, to engaging in conversations throughout our stay, he is always pleasant and accommodating to his guests needs. For a day at the beach, Ronnie provided us with a sunshade, beach chairs and beach towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emcasa and recommend to anyone looking for a special holiday accommodation.

I'm not sure what I can add that others have not said. Our stay was perfect in every way. We went with the largest suite and it was exceptional. The sense of space and view was as good as it gets. I could have stayed for months. The passion the owners have for their property and business is ever-present, and the art of the furniture and fixtures is exceptional. If you want to just arrive somewhere and relax, look no further, just book. The restaurant recommendations are spot on too, we really enjoyed "Salty", taste, price, location (gorgeous sunset) and friendliness were 10/10. Finally, the local beach is almost untouched Thank you Tony & Timo you have created a little peace of heaven on Earth.

Emcasa was a fabulous 4 night break in the midst of a tour. Kindly upgraded from a Junior Suite to a Suite we were overawed by the attention to detail and luxury we found. A fabulous place to unwind and relax - with great hosts who are professional, discreet and clearly passionate about their service. Thank you for helping us sort our broken car too!
