Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, an EVT hotel recensioner

Unfortunately this place is way over priced and well over run. You have to pay for everything on top of the already expensive room prices. Pool is old and kids area is in need of an upgrade. No sufficient shading in pool or kids area. We had a poor experience in our room, and much to the credit of staff, we were quickly upgraded to a bigger and better room. This was the saver for us, and made the stay worth it in the end. Staff are very friendly. Food was good in both restaurants, particularly downstairs at the bar. Ridges haven't really bothered doing any sufficient upgrades since Taking over.. The place feels old and outdated. Won't be going back.

location is good, convenient to everywhere in Hunter Valley. Great for families with kids, lots of stuff to play with, though most of them are open only at weekends or school holidays, and when I go there on 17/18 Dec., some of them are still not open or not working? The brekkie is quite good, lots of choice.

Villa needs to be refreshed to bring it back to its former glory. Particularly the carpet and curtains plus extra cooking items needed. The nacho in the restaurant was dry and inedible. Nice grounds and friendly staff.

Extended our stay for an extra day, was there from 24/12/22 to 2/1/23, awesome experience. Will definitely visit again.

Rooms are in good condition. Only downside is that housekeeping is not included and have extra charges.

Fantastic place. Clean room, really spacious. Good food at the nearby pub. Was an enjoyable stay.

環境非常好，房間一般跟美國motel差不多，設施也一般，早餐ok但是對亞洲人服務也一般。偶爾去去帶小孩或者打打球可以。
