Utilized the Hilton Mobile App to book a reservation under a govt rate of $107.00. Arrived and was quickly assigned a room on the first floor. I was not asked to show govt id or travel papers. Upon checkout the desk clerk showed me internal memo ( not on Hilton letter head and strewn with spelling errors) indicating that since I did not show my ID or paper work my rate arbitrarily defaulted to the full rack rate of $242.00. Even after showing valid govt ID they refused to recognize the rate of $107.00. This was simply a trap , a set up and a coordinated fraud. I engaged Hilton Honours Corporate as I have been a long term awards member. After several calls I was told they could not help me. Very disappointing ! I was able to dispute the increase in costs through Master Card and successfully recouped the inflated funds. This is not in line with proper ethics and integrity. The room was bare bones ,basic and the location was noisy. If you are considering this place….RUN !

We booked this hotel because it is stated on the website that it is a new hotel. Because there were no reviews, we had the impression that it was correct. That does not appear to be the case. Why there are no reviews is a mystery to me, let me be the first. (or are all reviews blocked?) Anyway, I'll share my experience. Given the fact that there was a contest we had to pay 450 dollars for the room, so you can expect quality. Nothing could be further from the truth. The hotel is absolutely not safe, not even security present. The first night our car was broken into and the second night 3 cars were broken into. In both cases, the cars were parked in the parking lot at the rear of the hotel. When my wife went to smoke at the BBQ pit in the evening, she was very aggressively harassed by people asking her for money. When we informed the front desk about this, we got the answer that it was simply not the best neighborhood. In any case, the front desk staff is more interested in smoking a cigarette in front of the hotel than behind the desk. The room itself was ok, but no more than that. We skipped breakfast because it was way too busy and the space has too little capacity for busy days. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, there are much better options in the immediate vicinity.
