This small B&B is centrally located. Easy walk to town stores and lots of restaurant choices. Table 14 and Stix are wonderful. We stayed in the only first floor room (Monet). The room, bedding and bathroom were all comfortable with attention to guest comforts. The breakfasts are delicious and look like gourmet magazine covers! The backyard gazebo is fabulous and we so enjoyed our wine and cheese afternoon there (guest refrigerator is offered so you can bring your own wine!). Best of all is that despite Ludington being a busy summer tourist destination, this B&B is reasonably priced and frankly, lower than most rates I’ve experienced at similar lodging. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Lamplighter.

We had a fantastic stay at The Lamplighter Bed and Breakfast in Ludington. Dan and Jen were gracious and welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy fireplace that we really appreciated—it added a special touch to our stay. Breakfast each morning was excellent—delicious, homemade, and clearly prepared with care. It was the perfect start to our day. We highly recommend The Lamplighter for anyone visiting Ludington. Great hospitality, charming accommodations, and a truly relaxing atmosphere!

We had a wonderful stay here! We highly recommend the accommodations and the personable service of Dan & Jen. It was a delightful and delicious mid-week get-away and hope to be back for a visit again. Definitely worth a (Michi)gander! For our first B & B stay, the bar is set high now.

We had a great experience - Dan and Jen were wonderful hosts. Bed was very comfy and breakfast was great. The house was very clean and well maintained. Nothing but good things to say about our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to others!

The Lamplighter B&B just a few blocks from downtown Ludington exceeded our expectations starting with a very warm personal welcome from Inn Keeper Jen. We stayed in the Crosby which was very cosy and comfortable. Coffee, refreshments were always available. Our visit included a fantastic homemade gourmet breakfast served by Dan. We highly recommend a visit to the Lamplighter B&B.

Charming place to stay. the location is why I picked The Lampligher. My bride of 40 plus years is always a tough critic with no trust in reviews or pictures. Wow I didn't just get the locatiom right this time she would like go back and stay again. Jen catered to our diet needs with a smile and a perfect breakfast served by Dan with a smile and attentiveness. Being a mature carpenter that works on places like this often I complemed Dan on his upkeep of the B&B. "it's our lifestyle" he replied. How humble I think it's hard work with the desire to be the Best.

What a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary!! Everything about the Lamplighter was top notch! The food was delicious, our room was quaint with a working fireplace and our hosts… Dan and Jen… were very welcoming and most attentive! They go out of their way to include many nice touches that make the stay more enjoyable ! I would highly recommend staying at the Lamplighter when visiting Ludington.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Lamplighter. Spotless rooms, delicious breakfasts, and incredible hospitality. We could not recommend this spot any higher. They even included a noise maker in the room - which was the perfect addition since we sleep with a fan! We had an amazing experience.

Lamplighter Bed & Breakfast is a delightful way to enjoy a visit to the greater Ludington area. Although the home is about 130 years old, it is well maintained with very comfortable rooms. The common areas are beautifully appointed and comfortable. The highlight of our time there was the delicious breakfast and the hospitable nature of our hosts.
