The Espiritu

Fantastic hotel- second time I have stayed here. Rooms very comfortable. Restaurant was excellent with yummy meals. All staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. Many thanks !

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! One of the best hotel staff ever works here. I had quite a few problems with the national airline and they did everything they could to make sure I got my connecting flight on time and regularly calmed my nerves. The pool is great and so is the food!!!!

I had read it’s the best place in town, and although I have nothing to compare with, I can believe it! (Local expats I’ve met have since confirmed it too). Although my standard room could be described as slightly dated, it’s well appointed with all the usual amenities, and clean and tidy, the bathroom, curtains and lighting have been upgraded and the bed looks fairly new and is very comfortable, so it’s all good. Besides, if it was newly refurbished it would cost more! The AMAZING, friendly staff (who remember your name), central location, pool and bar and dining area and relaxed ambiance really make the place a haven from the busy, rather undeveloped town outside. It’s been the ideal base for 8 days diving and land tour adventures. Especially with Pacific Dive based right on site. Oh, and the complimentary breakfast (never get that in the West these days!) is yummy and healthy and generous and so many options can have something different every morning… and last but not least their cocktails are sublime, with daily specials, and they made me a mean pina colada… which even the 5-star MGM Aria in Vegas couldn’t do for me a year ago as their bars didn’t have blenders! The Tu has one, and the awesome bar staff sure know how to use it! The whole operation, accommodation, restaurant and bar clearly VERY well run… truly world class in a place you might not expect to find it.

I spent 2 weeks at the Espiritu whilst working near Luganville. It is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are nice and kept very clean. The meals are great and all the staff are excellent. They are friendly and go out of their way to help you. I will be back.

Wonderful bunch of staff here who could not do enough for us + a late checkout. Food was good and a decent coffee also. Only issue we had was a few issues with the wifi and the hot water on one of the days. When in santo I highly recommend The Espiritu

Would highly recommend The Espíritu to anyone for accomodation and meals. The staff are friendly and polite, the food is amazing and of a high standard. Special mention must go to Barry for being Barry. Will be back again in the near future.!
