Garden & City Evian - Lugrin

Unfortunately, our stay at Garden & City Lugrin was terrible. I consider it the worst travel experience (business & leisure) I have ever had. (1) Unfriendly welcome with staff at the reception being bold, non-welcoming and hurried (2) Much smaller studio than on the pictures on the website (both living/sleeping room and bath room) - Not comparable (3) Filthy apartment (e.g. bathroom) with most prominent issues (i) hair of previous residents in bathroom, (ii) mould in the shower and (iii) mould in the toilet (4) Kitchen equipment not functioning well, e.g. warped pan, vinegar in the electric kettle and dirty smells from the extractor (5) Rude treatment at the reception upon notifying the staff of the complaints as listed above. Statement: 'We are fully booked and cannot do anything'. Basically, we got told to go help ourselves and our issues were not the problem of the reception staff. Unacceptable. After the very unpleasant discussion at the reception, I sent a mail with my complaints. I got a quick reaction with a discount (30%) being offered. We accepted the discount, however, unfortunately I still had the feeling afterwards I was being conned. The discountw as being paid back quite late, implying that we effectively we received it back ca. 1,5 week after our stay. Was very happy when we could leave the accomodation and would not recommend staying at Garden & City Lugrin to anyone.

The apartment came from an earlier construction period. Unfortunately, the quality was no longer as appealing, therefore no longer as comfortable. A renovation would be appropriate! The kitchen equipment can also be supplemented! Nevertheless, we enjoyed the holidays, but next time we would clarify exactly which apartment/house we would get.

Nous ns sommes rendus pr visiter en vue d'une réunion familiale. Le site est formidable, belle vue, espace vert, tennis, piscine.. Ns avons visité plusieurs "chalets", qui étaient propres, meublés simplement mais tout y était. Ns avons eu un accueil chaleureux, bcp d'explication s et un grand dévouement, avec mise à disposition de boissons,après notre arrivée. Nous reviendrons sur ce site en petit comité de famille
