Mountain Lake Resort - Lake Caliraya

Very relaxing 3days/2nights stay. Instead of waking up from people's noise, huni ng mga ibon ang gigising sayo. Great tasting and affordable food. Our room has its own mini pool, facing the lake, ang ganda ng view. The staff were all kind and accommodating, mabilis din ang room service. I was hoping makaligo sa lake, pero di ko nagawa coz I am not a great swimmer, but the sunset cruise was fun. On the way, makakakita ka pa ng nakalatag na palay, meron pa pala nun, nakakatuwa. If you need a relaxing and quiet place to stay, ito na yun!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mountain Lake Resort, and it was nothing short of an amazing experience. The resort is perfectly nestled amidst lush greenery with breathtaking views of Lake Caliraya. Perfect escape to unwind and reconnect with nature. ☺️ The staffs were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly elevated the entire experience.

May 18, 2024. Bad service. Kulang ang food (lunch included). Wala na din plates at utensils. We had to wait for more than 30mins for the refill. Galit na mga tao pero wala makausap kasi bigla na lang nawala lahat ng staff. Yung second batch ng food is still not enough. Sobrang konti ng serving. Pinadagdagan ko rice kasi gutom na gutom ako. Yung 1pc ng chicken is puro buto lang. I asked for another chicken or a replacement pero dahil she put it on top of veggies, nakakahiya ng ibalik. I counted yung remaining chicken and kulang pa sa mga nakapila. Ang ending madami pa din di nakakain. I asked for a manager to complain. I followed up multiple times pero walang manager na dumating until magsawa na ako mag aantay (1hr). Wala man lang humingi ng pasensya sa mga staff. Nakasimangot pa sila. Gutom ka na mga, ganun pa service nila.

My recent visit to the resort amazed me with its beauty and welcoming service. The location of the resort is incredibly stunning. The rooms I stayed in were very cozy and classy. The staff knew a lot and were friendly, always ready to help with suggestions and making sure everyone was happy. Eating at Mountain Lake Resort was a fantastic culinary experience. But what really makes this resort special is the variety of things to do. I left feeling refreshed and already thinking about my next trip to this peaceful getaway.

I am currently staying here, and I must say that the experience so far is very disappointing. While the view is amazing and the staff are kind, the rooms are super overpriced for what they offer. I am staying in a Lake Pod Villa, and the room is tiny with an outside bathroom. I requested an extra blanket, and there is an additional charge for it (as well as for extra pillows). The services are incredibly slow and inefficient. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich 1.5 hours ago, and I still haven't received it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Posted photos were taken as of March 28,2022. CONS: We were not told the instructions on where to go, or how is the process in availing the day tour. The Mountain Lake Resort doesn't have any sign outside, the only outside signage is " CALIRAYA SPRINGS CLUBHOUSE". If I didn't asked, we won't know where is the exact place of activities, or what should we do with the yellow clearance pass for the gate. We were charged for just looking at the obstacle course,which we declined to pay. We asked if we can go and look at the obstacle course,and was asked to sign a waiver for my children which I did. We went to the clubhouse for the archery and paid an additional 60php for a hidden "environmental fee" which was never mentioned here in Klook nor stated by Mountain Lake Resort in their email. They can't put it in the Official Receipt which is sketchy, plus the receipt given to me looked like an old receipt with my name wrong and details that looks edited. The archery we paid for was very dissappointing for 800php per hour as it was just a plastic toy with suction cup that wouldn't stay in place. You can buy that same toy in the market for 500php. The staff just put it in the chair in the dining area and let us play. PROS: The zipline and hanging bridge were nice. Kayaking is fun for our children too. Overall, I won't recommend buying voucher here in Klook as it was more expensive here yet the agents I talked to about the matter won't be any of help. I was also didn't have any discounts for availing other activities (which was mentioned in Klook). Furthermore, the price of the activities mentioned are the same with other resort in the area,better to stay away in this resort.
