Just awesome. What a nice friendly place. Clean, well managed and attention to detail. Brings back a little class to hotels with chocolates on the pillow. Breakfast staff really helpful and accommodating, will make a plan incase you miss breakfast. Truly awesome experience.

On Saturday night there was an event inside pitched tents and the noise was unbearable. This is not what one expects from a five-star hotel like the Intercontinental. I complained and was moved to another room at 11 pm. The actual room 304 was clean. Even the new room 311 was also clean.

Sadly only had a one night stay. Pick up from the airport was perfect. On time professional and very safe. The hotel was beautiful. Fully appointed rooms with lots of room service was very good. Breakfast was good and the pool and gardens were really lovely location very good. Would stay again in a heart beat.

Visit twice a year and so nice to come back at this hotel. Rooms are spot on, clean, good beds and a wonderful service. I am recognized as a returning guest and that is really wonderful. I love to have a meal in the lounge as the restaurant is more formal. Will definitely come back!

Bed sheets and towels always clean, the room was well kept always at the same time. During rain the umbrellas from the hotel became quite useful and I was allowed to carry it with me to the office. Staff are quite friendly and caring. I mostly felt at home with the good service from smiling staff in the restaurant during breakfast.

Fred and Eugene are the most professional doormen I have seen. They readily met my every need and assisted me before I could ask. The desk staff is equally helpful; Chipo, Precious, and Abigail are all equal parts patient, helpful, and professional. They worked diligently to solve various problems outside of their control to ensure the best stay for guests

The most amazing costumers service experience in my life. The Intercontinental Hotel staff are very attentive and provide the best experience in the whole continent. Madam Chipo, Mr. Fred, Madam Abigail, and Madam Precious, are very special host that embodied the tru meaning of hospitality. I recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks excellence.

I was upgraded to a remium suite after received the wrong room on the first night and this made my stay of 8 nights marvelous. The personal was so kind and fully committed. I love the garden bar. The only shadow, the breakfast when served at the top floor is not very copious and the buffet space is very narrow.

I've stayed in this hotel a number of times, and I've always been OK with it. Maybe I've never stayed in a "classic" room before, because the room was absurdly small. It started badly. I struggled to book an airport pickup because I made the mistake of traveling over the weekend, and they required me to send in a full flight itinerary. Unfortunately, the email I sent it to was the reservations email, and they had closed for the weekend. Eventually, I asked a friend in Lusaka to intervene, and they agreed to pick me up. The driver, a local taxi, showed up 30 minutes late driving an old beat up vehicle that normally would cost $10 from the airport. The hotel charged me $40 for the privilege. Then the room - Let me paint a picture of how small the room is - neither my sportcoat nor my shirts could fit into the closet. There was no place to keep my clothes other than in my suitcase. The bathroom was so tiny, there was no hook to hang a towel. The "desk" was just barely deep enough to accommodate a 13" laptop. For someone transiting through, maybe staying for 6-8 hours, or even a single night, this might be ok. But as I was meant to stay a week, this was impossible. I didn't give this hotel one star because the hotel staff was so nice and pleasant. Nonetheless, I checked out the next morning for a hotel with more space. I'll remain loyal to IHG, but skip this hotel.

I had already envisioned my room based on my previous stay; however, I was unexpectedly surprised to be ushered into an even more beautiful room that took my breath away. Total relaxation, spacious, comfortable bed/pillows, modern design and my favorite big bathtub. The staff remembered me by name and their constant interactions made me feel at home. I ordered room service which was ok though the oxtail was bland and could be done better (the Zambian way). I could not get internet on my iPad & iPhone which was sad - I was told this had something to do with the system that could only allow certain models of Apple to access Internet. Other hotels do not have this challenge so please look into this. Overall, a home away from home, always warm, relaxing and definitely 5-star service that has not failed. I can't wait to come back again soon. Kudos to all the Team from Bora, Abigail, Chipo, Ronald, Thomas, Sylvia, Fred (too many to mention by name) for their professionalism.

The rooms are absolutely stunning, spacious, luxurious. The amenities are excellent. They have thought of everything for their guests and you never want to leave your room because it is such a wonderful space. My only regret is that I was only staying for one night, I would go back absolutely any day if I could. Thank you for the wonderful service and stay.
