The Lodge on Loch Lomond Hotel

What a lovely hotel .. never tried it before .. we normally stay at Cameron House when in this locality and I must say , the welcome and friendliness of the staff , the cleanliness of our room and its facilities and its outstanding picture window views from all over the property are unbelievable and certainly an equal in that respect with its more famous hotel neighbour . The staff we interacted with were friendly and lovely .. the restaurant meal on the evening ( and breakfast ) was very good . The picture windows in the restaurant offer stunning views of the lake . You could be on a lake in the Muskoka’s in Canada or on Lake Placid .. and paying an absolute fortune for these views .. hotel parking was free .. they have elec car charging .. they gave us a room that had a balcony overlooking the lake that without doubt would have been called a luxury suite in places we normally stay .. can’t recommend it more highly .. will definitely return ! A little tip for TA reviewers .. if you see a review that says something bad about a place when most people seem to like it .. check where that reviewer normally goes for their field of reference .. I found when I looked up the few negative comments I saw that the reviewers , in my humble opinion , aren’t worldly travelled enough to be qualified to advise me . You may find the same

Firstly the setting is fantastic and the view and the area is first class. My partner and I stayed here many years ago and this time we decided to take our kids. On booking we stated that 4 people (of course referring to children) and booked a suite based on this booking.. and thought no more. The rooms are clean and spacious of view peaceful with great views. On booking out we received a surcharge of £60 per child which wasn’t clear and left a sour taste TBH. We stated on booking of x4 people and want clear of the surcharge, because if it was clear the pricing may have put us off booking! This to me is very poor communication and should have been mentioned as your charged enough for the suite.

Very hard to beat for good food, excelllent service and the best views in Loch Lomond Very handy to be able to tie up at their jetty, food is very good and we had a window seat with unrivalled views Hard to beat and food and service is excellent, would recommend

What an amazing experience. Staff are so attentive, could not fault them. Very family friendly. My pootch was welcomed with open arms. (love that 💙) cause that’s my baby. Your staff are a credit. I think the chap is David. Exceptional Staff Keep up the good work. that’s why people return.

We booked this for a couple of night stay for our Ruby wedding anniversary and all I can say is Wow, from the moment we arrived until we checked out we were made to feel welcome. The views are to die for and to be honest the service you receive is wonderful all round. Food is tremendous and plentiful I will definitely be back to the most restful hotel I have ever stayed in
