Premier Inn Luton (Airport)

Lovely room, big, AC, very comfortable bed and duvet etc. Beefeater restaurant and bar right next door was great as we didn't know how far away dinner would be. Very helpful and friendly staff too. A bit of a walk from the station with suitcases. The bathroom smelled a bit like a previous guest had smoked in there.

Ollie was very helpful showed us how to use the check in system, such a great guy and he was on hand to help as soon as we walked in the door. Assisted with check in ans advised where we should go locally for some fold and beverages. He even offered to come and tuck me in for the night - such a top guy 👦

We have stayed at this Premier Inn previously and feel that this time it is very much improved - with everything looking very fresh and new and so clean. There were plenty of spaces in the car park and we were met by Ollie and Kerry on reception who did everything that they could to welcome us after a long 2 hour journey. Thank you for allocating us a quiet - end of corridor room - we were very happy with it.

Very average Premier inn, with high room price and random ridiculous car park charge. The step down from the bath is larger than necessary and potentially dangerous for the less mobile. The associated Beefeater continues the theme of trying to extract as much money for the least effort.

We arrived at 11.30 to a very very crowded reception desk with a school class checking in ( individually) led to a half hour wait prior to us checking in. Only one guy on reception struggling to cope .There were other staff around who made no effort to deal with the situation. All in all very frustrating . When we eventually got to our room, we found that the toilet was disgustingly blocked and almost overflowing. I dont understand how your cleaners could sign off a room as clean with this situation. Back down again to reception to get another room only to be told by your guy that you were fully booked. he did eventually find us a room but with no word of apology or comment. I did feel sorry for him as he was obviously struggling but a small amount of customer service would have helped! we lost the best part of an hours sleep due to this poor service , not great at all as we had an early flight in the morning. I dont understand why a late night guest should get poorer service then somebody arriving in the day and I dont understand how a room can be left with a blocked toilet. Altogether a very poor experience
