Kilworth House Hotel and Theatre

It was a very relaxing stay here. The breakfast is worth mentioning because they have a good selection and delicious food.

We knew what we wanted from a wedding venue, but after seeing several venues, we had almost come to the conclusion we would have to make some compromises. However, when we saw Kilworth for the first time in December 2022, we knew immediately that it was the perfect place for us to get married and we never looked back. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It has so many unique features and spaces, and through the exclusive package, we were able to use them however we wanted. The rooms are all beautiful, and the luxury rooms are just out of this world. They are pristine and all of our guests were really pleased with the quality. However, undoubtedly the most amazing part of getting married at Kilworth was their team and in particular, Caroline, who was our wedding coordinator. No other wedding coordinator and wedding team came close to Caroline and the Kilworth team. At every step, they were on hand with ideas, recommendations, solutions when needed and generally just made the process of wedding planning so much easier that it was a complete joy. I don't think "thank you" goes far enough really for everything Caroline did for us over the 18 months leading up to the wedding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and whilst Caroline is absolutely amazing at her job, she was incredibly kind and we felt so welcomed every time we went to Kilworth. We often forgot that Caroline had many other weddings she was also the wedding co-ordinator for because she truly made us feel like we were the only ones and the priority. How she juggles this for every couple is just beyond me! The wider Kilworth team on the day were also absolutely brilliant. They were all so calm, it helped keep us calm throughout the day so we just enjoyed every minute. Everything ran smoothly, and if there were any issues, they were dealt with without anyone telling us! So many of our friends and family commented on how amazing the Kilworth staff were throughout the day, as well as how perfect the venue was. We couldn't agree with them more!  The extra special benefit of getting married at Kilworth is that although our wedding is over, we can still go back and visit and reminisce on the best day of our lives. Kilworth will forever hold an unbelievably special place in our hearts, and we look forward to visiting when we can and seeing the staff and Caroline again. We couldn't have asked for more from our wedding day, it was beyond what we could have ever imagined, and so much of that was down to Kilworth being the perfect venue with the most professional and outstanding team to help make the day as amazing as it was. Thank you so much for making our wedding day the best day of our lives, we will not be strangers to Kilworth and if we could recommend Kilworth to everyone getting married, we absolutely would without a doubt!

My OH booked this as a surprise. He did well. The hotel is decorated for Christmas and looks stunning. All the staff we met were so friendly. It was little touches, eg. Being shown to our room. We were there for an evening meal and music with the "Rat Pack". Thoroughly enjoyed it. In the morning, we had a fabulous breakfast before a short walk around the hotel grounds.

The Hotel needs. Complete makeover . Lifts were filthy the whole hotel is shabby and freezing cold. Was told they might find a portable heater but never did!!! Staff could not hare cared less and kept leaving doors open Seriously way below standards at £225 per night. Be warned the really don’t care Not even an apology

I want to thank all of the team at Kilworth House for making my wife's 40th Birthday party a memorable evening. We chose to use the Staging Post to celebrate as it offers a private space with beautiful surroundings. The Staging Post itself is a decent size log cabin which had plenty of space for our guests and included a private bar and kitchen. The team on hand were very professional and looked after us throughout the night. Caroline was a fantastic event planner and helped project manage throughout. I would highly recommend Staging Post as the ideal venue for those looking for something a little different.

An absolutely fabulous stay. This has to rank as one of our top hotel stays of all time. The cleanliness of the hotel was simply superb. Our room (Keats) was large, airy, clean, comfortable and quiet. All the rooms have been beautifully kept. The food was delicious. Quality cooking and so well presented despite there being a big function on. The staff were all friendly, courteous and professional. Thank You. A truly memorable stay.
