Queens Valley Hotel, Restaurants, Bars and Spa Luxor recensioner

They re arranged me to their second building call Susanna Hotel which is even better, it is very close to Luxor Temple and market. They helped to pack the breakfast for me as I have to depart from the hotel early for a tour.

Staff are so kind. Location is very convenient to get to Luxor temple. Wifi is unstable.

The hotel was a disappointing experience overall. The facilities are outdated and in dire need of renovation, making the stay feel uncomfortable from the start. Hygiene was a major issue, with smelly towels and poor-quality bedding that made it hard to relax. On top of that, the staff's behavior was off-putting, constantly expecting gratitude and tips for basic services. While the location is okay and close to a market, the journey to the hotel involves passing through areas where locals often approach asking for money, which can feel overwhelming. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless major improvements are made.

Our view from the hotel room was so good. The hotel is close to one mall and you can shop your souveniers from there. Foods are good. In december sea was cold but it is okay. We had fun!

It is close to tourist attractions, there are many souvenir shops in the area, and it is also close to the airport, making it convenient for sightseeing.

I stayed here in early January, and while the location is convenient, my experience was mixed. Upon arrival, the reception area was surprisingly dark despite it being daytime—most hotels usually have sufficient lighting. The lobby area, right in front of the rooms, was also dim with no lights, which felt unusual. The room wasn’t soundproof; I could clearly hear people talking outside, which affected my comfort. The window locks seemed flimsy—you could shake them, and I could feel cold air seeping in, making the nights especially chilly. Overall, I’m unsure if these issues stem from budget constraints or just maintenance oversight, but better lighting, soundproofing, and secure windows would greatly improve the guest experience.

No water supply for the second day. The rooftop view is nice with the hot air balloons at the morning. Breakfast is also good and the location is not bad. But the it is smelly inside the room and the water is cool.

Good and easy check in I arrived late night round 1 am and reception still available. Room seems old but neat and clean. Love the view from the rooftop/ restaurant, Nile river, baloon and mountain in west bank, also closeby Luxor tempel. It has pool but not big one. Breakfast not much variation but i like the omelete. Overall good experience

You are able to feel a warm welcome from hotel, but facilities are old, so some people might feel uncomfortable. However almost all is great.

Mohamed has been a helpful host. Her hospitality has been great. The rooms and facilities were great. The breakfast and the value for money has been superb and the location outstanding, just across the Nile and the Luxor Temple. The rooftop restaurant was simply amazing. Highly recommended.

Not only an exceptional value, but an exceptional hotel! It starts with the great location, convenient to many sights and allowing guests to dine overlooking the Nile for any meal. The real strength, though, is the staff such as Moustafa, who has a winning attitude and who helped book an impromptu felucca outing that ended up being a highlight of Egypt. The star is Mohamed at reception, who handles everything big and small effortlessly with a smile; he is a gem.
