Convenient location, close to tourist attractions and food sources. The room is spacious, but the maid comes to clean too late. She comes at 4-5 pm, which is the time to go back

It is a good choice in terms of cost. Not very expensive for staying in the center of the city

Stayed in Ibis styles for 2 days. The hotel receptionists and staff were so approachable and very accommodating. They guided us on how to go about the city with the different transportation available and the must see attractions in Luzern. Breakfast offered a variety of foods. Very clean room and toilet. I will recommend it to my friends who will visit Switzerland.

The hotel is located in the center of the city and 5 minutes walk away from the lake. The staff is helpful, rooms are quiet and well designed. Hope to stay here again.

Rooms a bit run down. Cabinet & toilet doors ain’t working well. Just rectify these small items is sufficient. Location is very good & the hotel provides free tram/bus card for free rides throughout the stay. Free coffee too. Staff was helpful to provide city info.

The location is good, staff are nice, and the size of family room is great. But the bath tub was getting a bit suck.  In addition, as my stay us during heatwave, there is AC but the temperature cannot be controlled very smoothly, thus a bit hot during the sleep.

The toilet is a little bit dirty but no issue with it. And the room did not have a good air flow in which, it results in very hot despite opening windows or turned on the AC.

A broken chair and asked for a replacement No cleaning service on the first day as we left the room a bit late in the morning  It is okay in overall

The location makes it easy to get around in town on foot. The réception Mr Shahroux, was friendly, kind and hospitable which was a great welcome after a long day of travelling. The breakfast was correct but always the same fare for the 3 nights I was there.

Had a great time there! The hotel was clean and bigger than the pictures. They gave us free chocolate as a welcome gift. We especially loved that they had the balcony in each room. We spent our tea time there, it was lovely!

Location is central and near a small mall but the property entrance is in a quiet alley and there were some rowdy youths in the area at night on at least one occasion. We arrived at about 10am, and the friendly reception staff allowed us to leave our luggage in storage which was nice. However, there was no chance of even a slightly early check in so we had to wait till after 3pm which was tiring as we had just been on a long train ride. Room size was decent for 3 guests and it's bright. Not much of a view, though - just the side of an art building. See the photo. The table in the room was crowded with a lamp, tea making facilities, bottle of water, phone, charging port, etc hence leaving little counter space for placing hot teacups, write a note, etc. The electric kettle caused a power outage in the room. That was a lifetime first in all my hotel stays. According to the male staff who came to rectify the issue, it was because there was water on the base. It was definitely not visible to the naked eye. It's kind of hard for the base to be 100% dry when you have to fill the kettle using the small sink in the bathroom. Didn't like the guy's manner of speech which makes you feel like you did something wrong. One of the first things he said upon entering the room was "whatever you plugged into the charging point, don't charge it" which was rude and accusing as our appliances certainly did not cause the issue!! I've used electric kettles in hotels across other parts of Europe, Australia, Asia, North Africa but this is the first time experiencing such a thing. Are electric kettles and other appliances in Switzerland really that 'sensitive' as claimed by this staff? If yes, there would be power outages ALL the time. This left a poor impression on the first day of our 3-day stay but we tried not to let it affect us. The bathroom is old and the sink had a crack plus the tap looked really old and weathered. The small and thin floor mat was insufficient to keep the floor dry during a shower so we had to ask for another one. Brighter bathroom lighting would be good. Breakfast was okay - eggs, pancake, bread, fruit, salad, hot chocolate, cereal, multifruit juice etc - and guests have to clear their own food trays. There's only one elevator, which is tiny but since my room was on a lower floor, I was happy to use the stairs - only when I didn't have luggage and wasn't exhausted.

The rooms are simple but clean. Location is good, walking distance to many key places like train station, piers, old town, etc. Though we didn't book our rooms with breakfast, we could help ourselves with the coffee and/or tea provided in the restaurant.

Breakfast was good with lots of varieties. Room and the bed was ok, but a bit soft . Staffs were very nice and location was rather good

Couldn’t check in earlier but can put luggage at storage. Wished they gave us the tourist pass earlier so that we could save some transport cost before check in. Quiet location and walkable to Lion Monument.
