Perfect traditional hotel in the heart of New Forest, lovely location, beautiful surroundings and perfect staff-thank you for an extra servis, those lovely staff will do everything for you will be definitely back very soon and explore more around :)

We decided to take my mother in law away for a few days, We had 2 rooms close together and the rooms were amazing clean comfortable and spacious, we will be returning, the breakfasts were great just the right size served hot. The staff were all brilliant and nothing was to much for them. Looking forward to our next trip down to the New forest and staying in this hotel. It might be small but the whole experience was amazing. There is as saying you meet as strangers and leave as friends this exactly how we all felt. Thank you all for everything you do.

Me n my partner stayed to escape the Xmas busy and it didn’t disappoint.we enjoyed the relaxing stay for a few days.everything was great particularly the staff and the food.the hotel is very clean and comfy. Lovely hotel in great location Thank you ormonde house team

Our first impression was dubious from outside. But once inside all our fears were dispursed. The hotel staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. When we entered our room we were very happy . Bed very comfy, sofa area to watch tv and a garden area to sit and topped off with a acuzzi bath. Breakfast was good. A very present experience. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

lovely hotel perfectly located for the newforest,the staff are very welcoming ,friendly and helpful The rooms are spacious and clean . we ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel and quality of the food was excellent throughout thank you ormonde house

Very impressed with the Ormonde House, very clean and everything we needed. All the staffs were cheerful and helpful. Breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Being able to wake up and have direct access for an early morning walk in the New Forest was absolutely magical. Brilliant little hotel in the countryside. Great location!

Highly recommend this hotel. We only stayed for one night but wish we had booked for longer. The staff were very friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the food—especially the Nepalese curry, which was beautifully cooked and incredibly tasty. We also enjoyed our cooked breakfast in the morning. We will definitely be returning soon.

We were given a good size room on the second floor but it was cold even though the heating was on until around 6pm. Bathroom was shabby but clean enough. The floor by the loo was rotten underneath the Lino so it sank when walked on. Extractor fan was very noisy. Steep staircase up to the room and the steps were very small so not easy carrying bags up. Well located and good parking facilities.

We spent 2 nights in the hotel eating in the restaurant on one of the those evening. Dinner and breakfast was fresh and delicious with huge portions. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is very well positioned in central of the Lyndhurst. So, it was easy to walk into little town. It has surprisingly large car park. All the staffs were super friendly and helpful during check in and check out time. And also it’s a dog friendly hotel. They have their own private space for dog where we can bring our dogs during breakfast and dinner time . Overall, we had a great time and made our holiday memorable. I would definitely recommend to all and stay again when visiting the area.
