We had 2 good nights' sleep in a comfortable bed & room, although the bottom sheet wasn't deep enough for the mattress and kept coming loose. Good shower room and nice products. Awful coffee in single-use plastic pods in room. Very disappointed to find everything in the breakfast area was single-use and disposable - plates, cutlery, cups, condiments. Almost no presence of staff - reception desk was empty much of the time, and when present staff were unprofessionally dressed and silent - no greetings given on arrival or departure. Experience was not what I expected from a Hilton brand, despite the lurid pink 'Paris Hilton' waffle batter.

This hotel is connected to a Hampton Inn. The room (king) was comfortable and clean. The shower had good pressure and towels were plush. Bathroom amenities were plentiful. Full-size fridge and equipped mini kitchen were a nice feature, along with the seating area — it was accommodating for ordering in and having plenty of space. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, which was served jointly on the Hampton Inn side. It may have been when I was there (stayed two nights over a weekend), but food was not kept replenished and an attendant was not readily present either day.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years as its location is a convenient mid-point stop for my business trips. This hotel has been consistently disappointing. Somehow the management insists on being unwelcoming at every level. For instance if you read my September 2023 review of this very same hotel you will see that I wrote " A sign which read something along the lines of "We temporarily stepped away from the front desk to help other guests. Will be back momentarily. Thank you for your patience" was permanently displayed on the front desk during my entire long-weekend stay. "I stayed here a few times since then and experienced the same unattended front desk syndrome every time. Want a proof? See the first picture I have posted to this review. Somehow they manage not to have a staff at the front desk whenever you need one. If you have the Hilton app on your phone and received your digital key before you arrive, don't bother directly going to your room. Your digital key will NOT work. It never has. As I said I stayed here several times. It never worked. You always end up going to the front desk for a plastic card key. While I was waiting at the front desk to get my key (because, you guessed it, they were not there and said so with their sign) another guest came in looking at his Hilton app digital key. I smiled and waited. Surely enough he joined the line behind me waiting for the receptionist because his digital key didn't work either. During my stay, they decided to paint the parking lot (yes, paint, not asphalt, pave or anything meaningful, just a thin layer of black paint, see my images below). Of course, since they don't care about their guests, guess what they did? They just blocked the half of the parking lot creating a total chaos. There were even fights between guests because someone ended up blocking someone's car. Do yourself a favor, go find another nearby hotel if you have to stay in the area.

The hotel and its management are terrible. I stayed there from 10/13 thru 10/16 for my cousin wedding. On 10/14 /23 I left the property for breakfast @11am asked housekeeper and 1st front desk attendant to have it done. I return @2pm. The room hadn't been cleaned. Talk to next front desk attendant about it. She told me it be addressed and taking care of ...had got towels from front desk to shower. I dressed and left for the wedding @315pm. I return to the property @10pm. The room still wasn't cleaned. The bedding not replaced , the trash nor used towels removed. One again spoke with same desk attendant. She said that she would do it herself. I left again for drinks returned around midnight. The same not had been done... I had to speak to the 3rd attendant now . He took notes for the the morning shift 10/15. At check out to no avail I was told that I could not be compensated for a unclean and horrible stay. I had Amex call to to express my dissatisfaction with Manger and to no avail...nothing.! She (Elise) acknowledged the horrible stay and said she wasn't compensating me. It I could rate 0 stars .. I would definitely do so. Home 2 suites Louisville east hurstborne is a horrible stay for Hilton gold member or anyone.

In May 2023 I had stayed one night on the Hampton side of this property. This visit I was staying in town 6 nights, instead of just 1 and wanted a little more space. I chose the Home2 Suites side. Sun 9/24 thru Sat 9/30. I was in room 442. The room was spacious, all fixtures worked as expected, the true blackout shades worked great. Appreciated the decent sized refrigerator and freezer for a nearly week-long stay - came in handy for a few essentials and leftovers. The room was clean and had a good start-up supply of 3 sets of towels. The AC worked well, even though I set the fan to High at all times, it wasn’t loud. What I did find noisy was when either the HVAC system on the roof or on lower floors cycled on, it created a reverberation or low hum that I found annoying and made it hard to fall asleep – had to use earplugs several days. Also noisy was the trash being collected by loud garbage trucks banging around at least 2 mornings between 3:30am and 4:00am. (An odd numbered room facing the bank or Hurstbourne Rd. might have been quieter) The carpet was stained in multiple places in my room. I think a deep clean is in order. While the room was fine, and let’s face it that’s probably the most important part, the experience in other parts of the hotel weren’t as great. If the hotel can improve these things, they can raise their rating. Breakfast – Monday 9/25 and Tuesday 9/26 – absolutely no fresh fruit offered. I stay in Hilton properties across the country multiple times a year; normally you can find bananas or apples – there were none. Also, the only yogurt offered was Trix cereal-flavored. That might have worked for the 6 year olds, but not adults. Luckily by Wednesday morning they had fresh fruit and the typical Yoplait yogurt selections that is more up to the Hilton Standard. However, each day the toppings containers for the oatmeal and waffles were really gross. They had streak marks and looked and felt dirty. These need to be cleaned daily, if not multiple times during the service. I did not eat any of the frozen and reheated hot items due to high salt content. I stuck with oatmeal and toast or nothing at all. Another thing many Hamptons have had in the past, and this Home2 shares with Hampton, was hard boiled eggs. There were none offered any day. Public spaces furnishings – I didn’t take time to take a photo, but the fake leather cover/upholstered cushions in the breakfast area along the wall with higher backs was peeling off terribly in many places. Looked very worn and uninviting. Workout room – on Sunday there was only 1 treadmill working, the other days it appeared 2 were working, but the 3rd sat there non-functioning with no sign. There was no sanitizing wipes, so all machines were dirty with sweat stains. Staffing at the front desk – The only friendly and truly hospitable and helpful clerk was Rachel. The hotel was VERY clean. Room smelled fresh and clean. Clarence at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We come to Louisville at least two times a year for soccer and we have now found a new place to stay!

Stayed here one night on the road in late March, with the family. Stayed in a King Suite. Overall a pretty good property. Positives: room was very clean, everything in working order. Plenty of room. The two-entry bathroom is appreciated. Staff were helpful. Free breakfast was fine, usual fare. Rate was reasonable. A few relatively small negatives. The pillows were all super-thin, super-squishy. The EV charger (the non-Tesla ones) were out of order, which was disappointing. The pool was quite cold. None of these are show-stoppers of course, but worth noting. Overall a good choice.

I had a great experience here. The room was clean, comfortable and had a nice little kitchen area. Very quite hotel and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable with feather pillows. Breakfast was good with some hot food options as well as fruit and yogurt.

I was at the hotel from Feb 14 - Feb 28 and only one persons spoke to me on two separate occasions. I let this be known to Clarence (the only one to speak) and also the individual that checked me out the morning of Feb 28. I have not heard any feedback from management. I am a Hilton Diamond Member and Home 2 Suites is my preferred hotel however I will not be returning to this establishment. No hospitality at all, staff is more interested in looking down at their handheld devices.
