The Gaydon

Stayed here for two nights & enjoyed every minute Keith & Kate were very welcoming & Keith helped to carry our cases to the first floor double deluxe room which was warm clean & crisp white bed linen & fluffy white towels & complimentary toiletries along with plenty of tea coffee hot chocolate sugar milk & biscuits. Also on arrival we were offered a glass of sherry which was a nice touch but we did have it as a night cap. The following morning we had an amazing breakfast from cereals to full English & beautiful homemade muffins which Keith warmed for us & served them with honey & cinnamon delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such a lovely B&B & in a very quiet location but close to all amenities once again thank you for a perfect weekend. Arthur & Alison 🥂🤗

Another fantastic stay at the Gaydon. We took advantage of the 3 for 2 January offer, representing excellent value. Our stay was very comfortable and the hosts Keith and Kate As enthusiastic and engaging as ever. Following an extensive breakfast each morning, we spent the days walking and enjoying the locality. There are several hotels close by, where non residents are welcome and good for a drink and catch up up. Returning to the Gaydon in the evening we found it to be warm and cosy and always had a decanter of sherry on the sideboard. Lovely hotel.

Perfect spot,.The hosts Keith Kate are wonderful,food amazing, literally five minutes walk to the beach ten minutes to a local cinema,a toby restaurant,sand dunes if you prefer- and then you also have Saint Ann’s shopping ,all about ten minutes,perfect spot ,perfect couple.

What a brilliant B&B run by the wonderful Kate & Keith, warm and comfortable rooms, enormous cosy beds to stretch out in, excellent breakfast to kickstart the day, and homemade muffins to die for. Our wet and windy Anniversary weekend was a bit of a trial, but the accommodation at The Gaydon was anything but. Says it all that we are already planning our next visit in more clement times, we still have much, much more to explore, and, we won't be looking anywhere else to stay than here! Incidentally, the walk to Lytham along the front, past Fairhaven Lake is just spectacular, with birdlife galore to spot.

Lovely to stay with Kate and Keith once again in this immaculate hotel. Our room was spotless as usual and had everything we could possibly need. The breakfasts are superb and if you really indulge you probably won't eat again until teatime! Just when you think there can't be anything else there are Kate's freshly made muffins. Thanks again to you both.

We had an excellent stay at this super friendly and extremely high quality hotel. The room was spacious, elegant and well kitted out with a super king bed which was wonderfully comfortable. There was an efficient walk in shower and plenty of towels. Five star accommodation and five star, freshly cooked breakfasts. We will definitely be returning.
