Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort

Very nice resort! Lots of marine life and the rooms were amazing. We stayed at a water villa.

很完美的度假酒店，酒店很新，設計理念也很新，所有設施都很高級。食物也很好吃，品種齊全。 住的是220室的水上屋，他們家的水上屋是帶按摩浴缸的。我感覺按摩浴缸比帶泳池還要實用，海里游泳回來直接泡個熱水澡，完美！ 附送的鐵板燒出乎意料的好，是帶互動表演的那種形式。來自菲律賓的大廚技藝精湛，一次服務一桌大約6.7個客人，每個人都吃的很開心…… 相對不足的就是島上的中文服務相對於國內客人的比例來説還是少了一些，畢竟每天用自己的塑料英語對付咖喱英語是有那麼點兒痛苦的……可以考慮增加一些中文菜單啥的。 總的來説還是超nice 的酒店，我女兒走的時候都快戀戀不捨的哭了，還特意吩咐我給他們家打6星好評^_^

We stayed at Outrigger for the last 6 nights of our honeymoon and it was an incredible place to finish off 3 weeks away. We are so glad we picked this resort after weeks of research and would highly recommend! The service was like nothing we had ever experienced before, everyone we came across were friendly and knew us by name which was really impressive! A special thanks to Kim, our concierge who sorted all of our restaurant bookings in advance and was always on hand if we had any questions. We had no issues during our stay but if we did I have no doubt Kim would have resolved them. We stayed in an overwater sunset villa with pool. We had requested one at the end of the jetty before arriving which they managed to accommodate and it was even more perfect than we imagined. Having looked at pictures and reviews in advance we had high expectations but it fully exceeded this. The villa was so spacious and we absolutely loved watching the sunset in the pool in the evenings before dinner, as well as snorkelling every day. The food was of brilliant quality and the frozen daiquiris were the best I’ve ever had. We’d also recommend a trip to the spa as it’s beautiful and they were some of the best massages we’ve ever had. Thank to you the full team that made the trip so special. We will be back

Wow, generally there is something that disappoints when booking a five star destination - not this time. This is truly a five star experience - from personalised arrival greeting at the airport, being met by manger and personal butler on arrival that is ready to attend to any need, to the personalised sent-off at the end of our stay, again complemented by resort staff at the airport to guide through the process. Moosa, our butler, was an exceptional communicator that assisted greatly in accommodating our needs including booking of experiences. The resort is beautifully maintained with staff always unobtrusively busy making sure it remains that way, while meeting your needs on a personal level. The dive center, spa and restaurants were all great. We stayed in an over water villa with pool and it it truly was one of the most beautiful settings we've experienced - that also ensured that riding out bad weather was no problem at all. Would definitely love to return!

This was a bucket list trip for us and wow, did it not disappoint.. From the minute we arrived at the seaplane lounge, it was just luxury and hospitality and friendliness. Welcomed by Guillaume and Vishant and settled into our wonderful sunset view overwater villa with hot tub. The room was more than perfect. We were not sure we would use the hot tub in 32 degrees, but we did twice a day! We actually didn't even sit on a sun lounger for more than 15 minutes in 8 nights. We went from breakfast to coffee and cake to lunch and then cocktails and supper, in between .... snorkelling and visiting the gym and walking round...... Every single meal we had was just sublime, we looked forward to every one. We were on the Dine Around meal plan and got to experience all the restaurants and couldn't fault a thing. The attentiveness without being over the top and genuine friendly manner of all the staff was what made the holiday. Every member whether conservation team, gardeners, housekeeping, bar or restaurant staff, always greeted you with a smile and the ability to know our names was very special. There are too many to mention, but special mention should go to the Kofee n'Chill guys Aminal and Pradeep.... They were great company and always knew before we did what we wanted.....Chandana in the Cuisine Gallery ran a tight ship and perfection in service. But tbh absolutely EVERY single member of staff were incredible. My husband did a diving trip with Jacob and I had a visit to the spa, both experiences top notch. The sunset cruise was also a lovely treat to sit back and look at the beautiful island whilst sipping champagne. Onto the snorkelling,.... every day we snorkelled twice and we were incredibly lucky to see a turtle on our first day... Then the fun continued with many many different species of fish and lots of sharks, behind our villa we regularly saw eagle ray, 4 in a row one day and then at low tide, swam right over a porcupine ray. Awesome! Yes, the coral is bleached but everywhere has suffered and the amount of variety of sights when snorkelling was brilliant. This is a 5 star resort without the trappings and fanciness of that.... But just pure luxury at every turn. Please do not hesitate.... It was indeed a holiday of a lifetime and we feel lucky that ..although it took a long time to decide on a resort, we believe we couldn't have chosen better. I dream we can return.... one day!

Diamond in the sky of five-star resorts in the Maldives! I like how they took a picture of us when we checked in at the seaplane counter. I wonder if that's how everyone at the resort greeted us by name when we arrived. The friendliness and authenticity of the staff are one of the best I have ever encountered (and it's my fifth trip to the Maldives). I cannot compliment how comfortable everyone made us feel. Kim, our guest service adviser, is the best! VILLA We had over water villa 221. Superb privacy and it was right at the corner so you get expansive views from two directions! The water level is a little shallower here if you are not comfortable of deep water like me. We also had villa 319 with a pool. The pool's great for dipping! Take a look at the pool in the evening. The LED lights in the pool makes it look like a reflection of the sky! FOOD Every staff at the resort knows everything perfectly. I mistakenly ordered a lemon tart for dessert at the grill restaurant, but the crew said oh that's at Artisan! The menus were so extensive! So I am very very impressed they knew what and where everything was! Everyone's so incredibly attentive as well. One time I was fiddling with the table lamp as it was a little dim. They immediately replaced it with a brighter one from behind me. Like magic! It's really cool to know all the desserts and pastry are baked fresh on the island. They are all worth of the gram! We went for the all-inclusive option and it was great! Our guest service officer helped to make reservations at different restaurants. The cocktails were superb and very very strong! If you don't like it strong the bartenders are always happy to adjust it to your liking. SPA The infinity pool at the spa was a nice surprise. There is also a steam room and a sauna. The scrub and massage was heavenly. MARINE LIFE I never get tired of watching baby black tips in the water. The snorkeling equipment is complimentary. Thank you for making our trip super special!

My husband and i stayed for 4 days , 3 nights at Outrigger to celebrate our 10 years anniversary, where do i start .. from the moment we set foot on the resort till the moment we left , nothing fell short of exceptional! The resort itself is breathtaking .. the ocean, the immaculate landscape the pristine beaches and our sunrise overwater villa with pool was a dream of an escape from daily pressures .. our host, Jinah was so attentive and took care of our every need and made sure our celebration was unforgettable in every way ! THANK YOU Jinah ! . Snorkelling from our villa was our daily treat and we enjoyed it tremendously. The food was exceptional and the service soooo warm and friendly ! Shoutout to Sashi and Milo for their amazing service and friendly and warm greetings every morning and evening . They made a point of getting to know us , our names , preferences and by the second morning they knew our favourite drinks and how we liked them .. an all round dream of an experience! We will definitely be back ♥️♥️

I wanna thank all the staff working there specially moosa rameez he always was there to make my vacation worry free, the food was fabulous, the rooms gets cleaned twice a day “if you choose to”, overall a wonderful experience and highly recommended resort

Wow where to start? If you’re looking at this resort and not sure wether to book it…do it! I promise you, you won’t be disappointed! This is now my SECOND time here and wow… I was still blown away just as much as the first time. Never have I been back to the same resort twice, but this resort is just so special. My partner & I have been so lucky to go to many incredible places over the years. including a different Maldives resort but Outrigger is just on a complete different level. When you’re looking at all the resorts when thinking about booking a Maldives holiday, they all look stunning right? All have those beaches with the turquoise sea, beautiful beach/overwater villas, incredible food plates… well not only does outrigger exceed all those expectations but it’s the incredible staff that makes this resort truly perfect. The staff are just everything. I really can’t thank each and everyone of them enough. From the reception team, to the cleaners, maintance stuff,to the bar/restaurant stuff and especially your own personal assistant. The warm smiles everyday, all the staff greeting us every morning and evening by our names ( incredible how they can remember if you ask me) , super attentive in every way and just making us feel like nothing is too much. The cleaners were phonomomal, the room was spotless and the attention to detail was out of this world. They played a huge part in this holiday with all they’re beautiful displays they made on the bed, they are such artists! This trip was EXTRA special though, as I flew back home a fiancé. Wow wow wow, the whole of the outrigger team put on the most incredible display I have ever seen. It was truly breathtaking. I will of course attach some pictures! So much thought and detail went into it and the team went above and beyond. All the staff made me feel so special with all there congratulations. To a photographer coming in and capturing the moment, the surprise bottle of champagne, a special dinner set up that evening with rose petals everywhere (which my partner says he can’t take credit for!) and the beautiful bed display that evening. Just everything was perfect. A special thanks to Moosa, our fantastic assistant. I can’t thank him enough for looking after us so well. You get your own assistant once arriving at the resort who take care of all your needs. From booking all your dining reservations and to your day to day enquiries you may have. We were given his Whatapp number and we could messege or call him throughout the day and night if we ever needed anything. The response time for any questions or requests I had was practically instantly. Always smiling and he greeted us every evening before our evening meal to make sure we were happy and to see if he could do anything for us. The final farewell was just so emotional. He gifted us something that I will treasure forever. I was in full sobbing mode by this point! Outrigger is my second home and I can’t wait to come back again and ag
