Haleakala summit is about 90 minutes drive from the condo, and a little over twenty minutes to the start of "the Road to Hana". You won't find better weather on the island, because Maalaea lies within the driest and sunniest microclimate in Maui, yet is kept comfortable by tradewind breezes. If you are planning a special occasion, we would love to help you find ways of making your stay extra special! We can provide celebratory touches, such as banners, flowers, special table settings, and champagne chilling in the fridge, all at cost of the items plus gas and travel time. Snorkeling is wonderful too. With yellow and brilliant blue fish swimming along side you in the coral and rockier area of the water to the right once you've stepped onto the sand. Our guest have access to our outdoor Shower as you come and go to the beach. Our colbolt blue tiled swimming pool is complete with a waterfall and is located next to our new double commercial grade gas BBQ's with wrap around counters. We also have a dinning area for though who prefer to enjoy their meals outside and it's a fun way to meet your fellow renters as you enjoy the sunset and your meals. Were a five minute walk to the Maalaea Boat Harbor where you can book many water excursions, Snorkeling trips to Molokai, Sunset Dinner Cruises as well as dine at the Harbor many Fine & Casual Restaurants and Tourist Shops. Grounds are well kept with all sorts of greenery; palms, pink and red ginger flowers, red and green ti leaf plants, plumeria and vibrant shrubs adding to the Hawaiian feel. The complex is outfitted with two elevators: one front and center to the complex, the other one at the west end of parking lot. Stairwells are located next to each elevator. Trash is located on the west end of the complex, with each floor having a trash shoot next to the westward elevator. A common seating area in the middle of the complex leads out to a sprawling green lawn that runs right up to the ocean where you can watch for feeding turtles, the occasional surfer, and whales depending on the season (the whales visit our island between the months of December- mid-April). Grounds include a spacious, gated pool and community gas grill area for Maalaea Kai guests and residents to use and enjoy.
