To Shijin and Silvi, Thank you for all the assistance and help over the past five days. We had a pleasant time at the Lagoon Villa of InterContinental. The Dolphin Cruise was also an amazing experience to remember. We are planning to come back next year with the kids. See you again soon.

非常非常美的酒店，最好的體驗 從景色 房間 服務 食物 都無可挑剔 早餐是特別好吃的自助餐，每天不一樣還有鮮榨果汁 下午有各種活動 我們參加了海釣還可以吃自己釣的魚 晚上在燈塔的晚餐太浪漫了 食物也很好 水上spa簡直絕絕子 每家房間門口還有屬於自己的自行車 可以在島上環遊

酒店在魅力的馬爾代夫島上，服務人員態度很好很細心，住的是水屋，躺在床上就可以看蔚藍大海心情很好

Truly a destination vacation. A once in a lifetime experience at the Intercontinental Maldives. Our island curator, Dwi was especially attentive to every one of our requests making our stay comfortable and welcoming. Language was not a barrier as she could speak both Korean and English. We swam with turtles and manta rays, went fishing, and indulged in the local seafood. The facilities were well kept, and housekeeping was very meticulously maintained.

The experience, facilities, dining and staff are so friendly and welcoming. The resort is in a peaceful location where time stands still and you can fully unwind and relax. A trip of a lifetime, big shoutout to our Island curator Iyaz who helped us spot an eagle ray right in front of our villa and Min Soe who always rememberedd our drink orders and preferences during dining.

We recently had a delightful short stay at InterContinental resort. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality, and our curator Yolanda ensured that every need was met. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Must visit restaurant is Lighthouse Highly recommend this resort for a romantic getaway

I recommend everyone to book Intercontinental. A lovely resort with lots to do on the island and in the ocean. Staff team was incredible and made us feel very special. We saw and learnt a lot about the ocean life. Thank you Dwi, Jude and all the staff team ☺️

Hotel is amazing, nice villas, great equipment , amazing service. Our curator Yolanda is so nice and helpful, she helped with literally everything , including our wedding and everything else, no matter how trivial they are. We love everything in this hotel and we cannot wait to come again soon. All staff members are so friendly and helpful , the activities on the islands are so fun, we did kayaking, snorkelling, gym, table tennis, cycling and everything is complimentary! Food is amazing too, everything is superb and beyond description !

Very attentive people works at this hotel, also on an island there is a clinic and for everyone medicine is complimentary if someone needs. Very tasty food in the hotel, really good! Transfer with seaplane, good villas, and very cool parrot lives near the main pool:) Thanks for this holidays here

We had an amazing stay and with Yolanda as our host, nothing was too much trouble. She is an absolute superstar and we will miss her until next time! The rest of the island staff are also amazing and top tier! All extremely helpful and always smiling. The APP made things so seamless for us. All the little things they do (I won’t spoil for you, you’ll have to stay to see)! The Overwater Pool Villa we stayed in was just stunning and perfect for us, we can’t wait to return.

While I ultimately have rated the Intercontinental Maldives 4 stars, it truly was a wonderful hotel and a true trip to paradise (so really more like 4.7/5). My rating stems mainly from small things, and mostly from pre-arrival and not the resort itself. This is a long review- I apologize in advance! But there don’t seem to be too many detailed reviews here so I wanted to give some extra details. This was to be our official honeymoon, but also our first wedding anniversary as we delayed our honeymoon due to my husband's work schedule. We both work onboard a luxury cruise line, so our schedules are tricky and standards high. The stay was booked on a mix of points, cash, and Ambassador weekend certificate. The hotel was very helpful at combining the bookings easily and quickly. We did have an issue between IHG and the hotel in regards to an add-on package I had been told was for us both, only to later be informed it was not. In the end it was resolved satisfactorily, but only after I reached out to management directly. I won't go into details as it did not negatively affect our stay, but will caution that my best advice is to try and work directly with the hotel on arrival for any concerns, as the staff at the hotel are fantastic and much more service oriented then the reservations agents via email. I had a few other concerns, and they were always met with "no" versus supplying an alternative. For example, as Diamond Ambassador, I was offered an upgrade to the lagoon villa. We preferred to stay overwater on the sunrise side (meaning no upgrade necessary) and the email agent said that if we didn't want this upgrade there was nothing else. I found it strange there was no offer of a monetary upgrade if we preferred. On a related note, the other reason for the slightly lower rating was the general lack of disregard for loyalty status. Did this impact our vacation? I don't think so. But at the end of the day, the hotel is an Intercontinental regardless of its location, and I felt that it didn't honor loyalty over spend. My husband and I do not truly care about these things as we would stay here with or without status (I only mention it for other members), and I would say that if you do not have any status with IHG there are many benefits to choosing this hotel over other well-known brands-- the included breakfast and club benefits for everyone is an AMAZING value! We were greeted by the resort manager upon arrival (I did understand this was due to our status). There was a great setup in our room on arrival- balloons, messages on the bed, canapes and a cake for our anniversary. There was also a welcome bottle of bubbly (though not Moet as other rooms received). Again, nothing to negatively affect our stay. One thing of note, we were not allowed to choose a welcome amenity as Diamond. For those unaware, as Diamond you can choose welcome points, drink, or breakfast for your stay. This is standard at any IHG hotel. As breakfast is already included, I had

Had a most wonderful vacation in this mantastic island. The ocean so beautiful, our villa so comfy and clean, every staff so kind. Our curator Silvi kindly helped us getting along with this resort, we quickly fell in love with this island and the resort thanks to her. I also remember Kishore entertained us with his magic trick, still wondering how he did it. We hope to come back here someday.

The experience was like no other! The InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort is truly its own paradise. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, and with views like no other. We cannot wait to come again. This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later!
