- Location 5/5 near restaurants, senado square and bus station, easy to locate using Google Map - No elevator (just 2nd floor) - Small Room but enough for a couple traveler with one luggage - free water refill, extra comforter, good wifi - visible molds on the ceiling - good AC

Room is tiny, some rooms are next to reception which can be noisy. Somebody used the microwave in the middle of the night 😔. Price was good. Aunties are friendly. Make sure you have 100 HKD / mop/ RMB for depot which you'll get back. Also they need to see the little slip which you get at Macao immigration so don't lose it. Would stay again only if a room is available on the upper floor away from the reception. Location is amazing down a little lane with traditional shops and close to all the tourist sites.

Among other rooms in this hotel this room is one of the worst. It has an awful smell of drainage which is really disgusting and since it's very cramped you can't get rid of it. Hotel reception persons are quite nice, but remember that they allow check in only after 14-15 o'clock, but they let to keep the luggage. They provide everything necessary, including slippers and razor, for this kind of room it's impressive. I strongly recommend to choose other rooms on this property rather than this one with shared bathroom, I just didn't notice it during booking

The room is compact and comfortable, featuring a cozy bed and a tiny bathroom. The room is equipped with helpful amenities, including a hairdryer, adapter, TV, kettle, and several cloth hangers. The air conditioning works effectively and keeps the room quite cold, and there is space between the bed and TV for a medium suitcase. The reception is conveniently located on the second floor, where guests can access a microwave and drinking water, as well as bathroom amenities. The hotel’s prime location is a significant advantage, just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, allowing easy travel around Macau. For those arriving from the airport, the MT4 Bus to PONTE 16 followed by a short 10-minute walk to the hotel is very straightforward. Additionally, there are plenty of restaurants along the street and a large supermarket nearby, enhancing the overall convenience of the stay.

Has everything you need and a convenient location. The drawback is that there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs.

If you consider booking Pensao Carmen, you should know that on the signage of the hotel it’s NOT Pensao Carmen! Remember that, otherwise you’re gonna have a hard time looking for this place)) I’ll add photos of the actual signage. Pros: conveniently located in Macau’s old town, it takes around 10 minutes to get to The Ruins of St.Paul on foot, and all other historical sites are just around. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even if they didn’t speak English at all. I met the three of them and all were old ladies, super nice and cute. I left my luggage after check-out for the whole day before moving to Coloane village hotel. The bed sheets were of good quality and very clean, I enjoyed my sleep after a tiring flight. The bed, though, was kinda hard, not for everyone, but my back was grateful)) pillows were also comfortable, better than at some much more expensive hotels. You can get as much water as you want from the water station at the corridor. There’s a bus station 5 minutes walking from the hotel, the name is Ponte 16, it’s right in front of the famous Sofitel. CONS: The hotel is located on the second floor, there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up there. My room was tiny, it’s really just for one person. The bed is kinda short, for me it was enough but I think a taller person might not feel comfortable enough there (my height is 162 cm) The bathroom is tiny, too, and given its dark green design, it looks rather dirty. I’m not sure if it was, but I found someone’s tooth brush in the shower and some hair in the drainage. Yuck!! Only one big towel was clean though. All in all, I didn’t expect much from it so neither should you 🤩
