Sweet Winds Michigan Upper Peninsula Farm

Sweet Winds is delightful set back in time farm property located 1 mile inland from Lake Huron in the Upper Peninsula. The house is a blend between a cottage, UP cabin, and farm. Its cozy in the winter and nature in abundance in the warmer months. Wildlife is abundant with a lot to observe and star filled skies. The 10 acre farm is located centrally to St. Ignace, Les Cheneaux Islands and Sault Ste Marie. Easy to get to other Eastern UP destinations. Located adjacent to snowmobile Trail#47. The space There are 3 bedrooms ( 2 twins, Full, and Queen). Limit 6 people. The living room is complete with a wood stove. Kitchen has most everything you would need to prepare your own meal. The small porch is perfect for sipping a hot drink in the morning and watching the farm come to life. It is located off of a paved highway, then about 1.5 miles onto a gravel road. Guest access The house will be entirely yours during your stay. Welcome to walk the property, sit outside whenever you like, enjoy a fire in the chiminea, drink from the amazing well, and visit the hoop houses. Other things to note Currently we do not have wifi, but hope to get it in the future if the demand is there. A screen is available for location television, but internet access is available through personal phones. There are books and games. However, if you have your favorites it is perfect place to step back in time without the distractions of being "plugged in". This farm is working its way into be a sustainable agricultural farm. When you visit you will see the early stages. We’ve had our challenges with gardens, staffing. But successful with free range chickens.
