Everything about the stay was impeccable. We were received very warmly at the property, the views were stunning, the room very comfortable. As is usual with Taj, the service was above and beyond expectations. Gloria was excellent as were the chefs at Dew and the naturalist who took us on our walks. Could not have asked for a better holiday. Thank you

We had a great stay here. Apart from the welcome (which did not have the usual Taj warmth), we were pampered by the staff. We get some wonderful views from the lobby and from the rooms. We were excited about using the temperature controlled pool but were disappointed as the water was quite cold. It was supposed to be at 29 deg but due to wind chill factor, was much colder. Taj should really review this of keeping the pool at 29 deg and if the guest wants it warmer, should increase the temperature. Afterall, the infinity pool in mountains is one of the attractions of the property. We ended up spending some time in the open jacuzzi as the water was a bit warmer there. Suva and Ricky at Ferntree restaurant were there to take care of our needs. In fact the entire staff at the restaurant was warm and welcoming, encouraging you to try various dishes. In fact, after the restaurant at Lake Palace Udaipur, this was the place where we were pampered the most. It is worth going just to enjoy the hospitality. We went for the nature walk where Nitin shared information on the local topography. He kept it interesting. Boltas took us around the property in the buggy, highlighting various aspects. All in all, a wonderful memorable stay, though we missed using the swimming pool.

We had a 7-night memorable sojourn in Taj Madikeri. It is an idyllic get away in scenic and verdant surroundings. Our stay was made particularly comfortable and memorable because of the dedicated staff of the resort who, through their eye for detail, micro-planning and an overall determination to give value and the best experience to each and every guest, ensured that all our needs were fulfilled in the shortest possible time. My wife and I would specifically like to highlight the contributions of the following members of the resort team: REBITA SINGHA, the Duty Manager of the property during a stay, was most knowledgeable, helpful & proactive in her attitude and offered many suggestions that enriched our 7-night stay. AROOPA, from the Front Office impressed us with her detailed & helpful introductory briefing and was available at all times for any assistance and planning we required, especially related to concierge-services UMESH, the F&B Manager, and his dedicated & tireless team that managed Ferntree, Grills and Hive (amongst other restaurants) to the delight of all guests. NIKHIL waited on us during most of the breakfast sessions in the open area of Ferntree. His breakfast coffee was a treat for any coffee aficionado so we labeled it: "Nikhil's special coffee". To our delight, he served us at Grills as well during an excellent dinner by the poolside. Akshay, with detailed knowledge of the Kodagu cuisine, was always at hand to help us enjoy the finest dinners in Ferntree. Gowtham who curated our in-room dining experience on 3 occasions with care, efficiency and professionalism.

First Impressions – A Warm Welcome to Paradise From the moment we arrived at Taj Madikeri, we knew we were in for something special. The drive through the winding roads of Coorg, flanked by coffee plantations and towering trees, set the perfect prelude to what awaited us. Upon arrival, the warm hospitality of the staff enveloped us instantly. We were greeted with a refreshing welcome drink, and their courteous smiles made us feel at home immediately. As we stood at the reception, gazing at the panoramic view of the rolling hills, the staff offered to take some pictures of us. This small yet thoughtful gesture was just the beginning of their impeccable service. Little did we know, this picture would later be beautifully printed and presented to us in our villa, adding a deeply personal touch to our experience. The Premium Villa – A Sanctuary of Elegance and Comfort Our accommodation for the stay was the Premium Villa with a queen bed, and it was beautiful. The villa was enormous, designed thoughtfully to provide the ultimate luxury experience. The first thing that caught our attention was the 270-degree view of the hills, a sight so mesmerizing that it felt surreal. Every window framed a different perspective of the lush, mist-laden valley, offering an ever-changing portrait of nature. Inside, the villa exuded warmth and grandeur. The interiors were adorned with elegant furnishings, tasteful decor, and a soothing color palette that perfectly complemented the natural surroundings. However, the highlight of the villa was undoubtedly the cozy hearth, an absolute delight, especially in the cool Coorg weather. The gentle crackling of firewood, combined with the serenity of the hills, made for an unparalleled experience - one Rashmi loved the most. And it reminded her of her childhood - it was special. A Culinary Delight Breakfasts were an elaborate spread of local delicacies and international favorites. The Eggs Benedict and Poha Jalebi made on request set the tone for us. What truly elevated our dining experience was the staff’s attentiveness and expertise. Their knowledge of ingredients, recommendations based on our tastes, and eagerness to enhance our experience added another layer of excellence to our stay. I have visited many taj properties and all are giving good welcome. But not a good welcome in taj madikeri Disappointed. I would not recommend this taj property at all. If u want to visit. Taj property must visit taj mahal palace mumbai.very good property and atmosphere
