Hampton Inn Madison Huntsville Airport

This hotel seems to have been updated within the past few years. It's showing its bumps and scrapes, but overall, it's beer better than most in this price range. Only one staff member at check in slows things down on check in so bring your patience. . The halls look good, the room insulation is better than most and the rooms are large, modern and inviting. Nice flat screens. Very plush comfortable beds and with lots of outlets and USB plugs. The AC units work well but do bring in some humidity when cranked down low. Ask keep your clothes away from the AC unit. The water pressure seemed a bit low, but ok. I thought the breakfast was better than average for the area with a reasonable selection. The price for the hotel was exceptional and was very close to the airport.

Don't Waste Your Money - First of all, the clerk gave us a handicapped room, which we are not... Big FAIL. We asked for a regular room which he gave us. The room had a horrible damp smell that made all the furniture sticky and the floors felt damp. We had to keep our luggage closed so that our clothes would not get damp. The door to our room did not shut properly. We had to slam it shut and pull hard to open. The security door to the parking lot never closed tightly, we had to slam that shut too. The fridge was not working, room temperature at best. The clerk advised us that the Direct TV was not working so streaming services were the only option, which we do not have. Never was that fixed during our stay. We would have moved hotels but it was already paid for and non-refundable. Funny how this hotel did not send me an email asking for a review. I will never stay here again. There are many other options nearby. The gym was the only pleasant room in the hotel. It was cool, not humid, the equipment was clean, and it was empty every time we used it.

My room didn't have enough hot water for the shower to work. I mentioned this at checkout and the woman working said "we're super full at the moment so we had to put people in the south-wing, which we don't usually do, because it has a problem with hot water." So (1) the hotel knew it was a problem, (2) didn't disclose that to me at check-in, I only found out in the morning when I had an important work meeting to get to. and (3) they could have offered to "walk" me to another Hilton property but didn't.

Shampooed the carpets and furniture just before they checked us in. The room was a damp mess for the entire 3 days of our visit. Everything we took home had to be opened up and dried out to prevent mold. Also, no drain plugs in the kitchenette sink or the bathroom sink. And, because of the very damp floors, we kept getting shocks off of one of the light fixtures. We have stayed here before several times and enjoy the spacious suites. Now, we will reconsider why a hotel with hundreds of rooms can't plan better when to clean their carpets and get their rooms dried out. Or generally perform better maintenance.

The staff persons at the place were exceptional. The hot breakfast variety was not good. Moreover the look of certain places in the room was reprehensible--mold or dark spots under the sink, poor caulking on the periphery of tub, and chipped furniture. Poor, poor facility, at least my room. Again, staff was excellent.

Typical Hampton Inn right next to Huntsville Intl Airport. Hampton Inns are consistent in their quality and building design. This was a nice hotel with a nice staff, nice rooms and good breakfast incld. This property is about 20 yrs old and is starting to show its age. The owners have maintained it well. The only thing missing in my room was a room safe, other than that it is a great place to stay.

We were not notified that construction was ongoing and woke up at 7:25am to drilling and power tools. If we had been aware, we would have selected a different room location. The hotel is very conveniently located, but the “free airport shuttle” does not run regularly so expect to make your own arrangements.

An outstanding stay as the hotel is in a good location. The customer service was great, and we enjoyed an all-around excellent experience. The rooms are very nice, and the hotel was very clean. The outdoor patio came in very handy, and it is a nice place to hang out. Everyone we ran into, that worked at the hotel, was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was successful. A good breakfast and the staff ensured food was available even with a pretty large number of guests staying there during the time we stayed. This was a Group stay and Ms. Deanna Jones was very helpful in accommodating our group throughout our stay. Thanks to Ms. Jones and the entire stay for a job very well done! I would definitely recommend the Hampton Inn Madison Huntsville Airport to anyone traveling to the Huntsville, Alabama. I would definitely stay there again. Again, outstanding experience. This hotel is exquisite! The staff was incredibly nice, the hotel is super clean, my room was awesome and breakfast was delicious! (Typical waffles, scrambled eggs and sausage kinks) Overall, it was a fantastic stay with zero issues. I have had my fair share of poor Hilton experiences (like those in Huntsville proper) but the Hampton Inn in Madison was by far the best around the area. Plenty of amenities around the area if needed as well. I’ll definitely be staying at this hotel again when I travel through the area! Thanks for a fantastic stay.
