Hotel Puerta America recensioner

Överlag anständigt hotell förutom att det inte var särskilt bekvämt på läget så det slutade med att ta massor av Ubers... var på nivå 10 som var väldigt mörka rum (föreställ dig alla gråa inklusive taken) vilket inte var de bästa men överlag bekväma rummen och sängen. Servicen var bra och maten var bra förutom mycket begränsad valmöjlighet...

The hotel was a bit of a disappointment. Starting with the good points the reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Als the design of the hotel looks really good and with beautiful views. Unfortunately there were also some issues like the tv remote not working (what was fixed directly by a friendly guy), water in the bathtub/shower not properly draining and a empty minibar which we filled ourselves but wasn’t cool at all. There also was no coffeemaker or ketel in the room. Also we were told the roofbar would be opened from our second day but when we went there we sat there and no one even greeted us. When a big group of people came in (after 15min of sitting there) there came someone who told them the bar was closed. After a while we went away and still weren’t spoken to.

I stayed here for a total of 4 nights and 5 days. This hotel was a little far from tourist attractions, but I am grateful that I was able to stay in a 5-star hotel at a good price. Scales, facilities, breakfasts, and services distinguished this hotel from four-star hotels, and staffs were exceptionally friendly. In particular, artistic architects participated in hotel construction and showed artistic interiors. Staying in a room that is comparable as a work of art was a beautiful experience of travel. I changed the room once during my stay, and the second room was perfect for both artistry and practicality in feeling like boarding a spacecraft. In the second room, I was particularly satisfied with the bathroom facilities. Also, I am especially grateful to all the staff who helped my mother, who got hurt while traveling in Toledo.

The design of the hotel and rooms are incredible. Each floor has a unique design based on designers and architects. Location ideal for me and enjoyed the feel of the hotel. I only wished there were more amenities in my room like a kettle.

The hotel is far away from the city center but public transportations are nearby so pretty convenient. I traveled solo and was put in a room with 2 twin beds pushed together so I’d asked to change me to a one queen but the front desk guy said they’re all booked, although it seemed pretty empty on a Monday. The room I stayed in didn’t have a bathtub but the design was really nice with a great view. The lights were very complicated to use because they had too many things going on so sometimes the lights in the room turn on out of no where in the middle of the night extra bright. The room had cool technologies though like automatic blinds that blackout the room, vanity lights, and rainfall showers. You pretty much don’t know what kind of designs the room you get will have so it might not be for everyone who must have certain things-might be better to go with a chain brand. The room had weird things like 3 landline phones-one by the bed, one on the tv wall, and one near the toilet in case you need to order room service while pooping I guess. The hotel amenities like the pool were closed and chairs were covered and certain areas seemed rundown for a 5-star hotel. Overall, ok experience.

The frotntdesk spoke very good English and provided excellent service.

Great hotel, lovely rooms and location. The staff were great and the service was good with ordering drinks etc. unfortunately, the pool was closed during our stay which was not ideal considering Madrid is 35 degrees and it would be nice to sit in the pool and enjoy the sun.

Disappointing to say the least. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. The so-called "design" hotel is just a con to begin with. Very standard room, nothing remarkable. Room service was dismal. Awful. I was told I could scan a QR code to ser the menu. It didn't work. I tried calling reception. No reply. I went down to reception, after a while they took the order, a simple pizza. I waited an hour, it didn't come. I just went to sleep. I gave up as I was fed up. Then they knocked at the door. Almost 3am. Hey. Pizza is ready! 30 euros. Waste of 30 euros as of course I didn't eat it at that time. I was so fed up with the general service I didn't even complain at check-out, even though I shouldn't pay for that. I'll try over email. Standard facilities. Swimming pool wasn't open. "Observatory" (skydeck) wasn't open.

A very good hotel but some hotel facilities are not qualify for 5 stars rating. But good location with subway station nearby, good services and good breakfast. All hotel staffs are friend and willing to help !

- the hotel is in a living area and a bit away from the city center, but there is a metro station in front of the hotel - the room was a bit outdated, the carpet was dirty - friendly staff

A interesting Hotel with each floor featured by a designer, worth for a try.
