Overnight stay only when visiting temple. Very nice room with everything we needed. Good room service and brilliant staff. Wish we could have stayed longer and would certainly stay again if in the area.

Beautiful resort style hotel with amazing facilities and wonderful staff. Really felt like I’d entered an oasis of calm The rooms were spacious and well equipped with a room manager who ensured you had everything you needed. Thanks to Mollay for looking after me. I also had the most amazing massage and pedicure. Probably the best I’ve ever had. Amazing and relaxing mini holiday within a busy travel tour

I cannot speak more highly of this place, it is truly wonderful. The staff all over the resort are friendly and warm, and the facilities are kept in great condition. The pool, the rooms and the garden are a peaceful escape of the bustling Madurai. A special thanks to Seetharaman at the Banyan restaurant for his great service. The massage therapist was also really good. I really recommend all to stay here, even if Madurai itself is not on your itinerary.

Heritage Madurai lives up to its name, effortlessly blending modern elegance with a captivating historical ambiance. The lobby area exuded a peaceful old world charm and a delightful touch was witnessing a garland maker weaving fragrant flower garlands for the welcome of hotel guests. During my stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing the opulence of the 'Luxury Plunge Pool Villa'. The spacious room boasted tasteful wooden furnishings, complemented by a generously sized bathroom. However, the true highlight was undoubtedly the expansive plunge pool, offering a serene oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation. Throughout the property, there are maintained green oases, accentuated by majestic banyan trees that added a touch of natural splendor. While I only had breakfast during my visit, it was regrettably the least impressive aspect of my stay. The restaurant space felt cramped, struggling to accommodate all guests adequately. Furthermore, the state of the chairs left much to be desired, they were really dirty! :/

It's a good property... one gets to see the traditional architecture.... most of the part is good in the hotel.... the main dining area did hv a bit of dust... I also spotted a rodent running in the lawns...but maybe coz it's a big property! Our stay was pleasant and the rooms were clean :) We enjoyed our stay at the Heritage.

We gad a lovely stay here, Madurai is a busy city and the hotel offers a lovely oasis. We had good massages, a nice breakfast and dinner and also the rooms and service exceeded our expectations. This was the perfect closing act to our Tamil Nadu trip.

This property was a charming and colonial haven in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Madurai. The beautiful architecture and renovation by Geoffrey Bala paid homage to old world style with simple materials giving it a quiet elegance. The lobby overlooking pool area with antique door and vintage style furniture was atmospheric. The villas were lovely with wide porches and lounging chairs. The pool area was just gorgeous. Our check in felt rushed, brusque and not as welcoming as other properties. The person who showed us our Villa seemed rushed as well. As we walked around the property, exploring we visited the ‘ swig and tee bar’ by the banyan tree. The bathroom next door was unfortunately shockingly dirty and unclean. We pointed this out to the staff only to be given excuses and then directed to another bathroom. The Banyan restaurant was lovely. The buffet catered to western and Indian palates. The ala carte food we ordered was delicious. Madurai Paratha and Chettinad style curries were very flavorful. Breakfast spread was elaborate - filter coffee at the table was a nice touch, especially when the lady ( Raji) air foamed it in front of us. Excellent!

As the name suggests, this hotel exhibits the heritage of Madurai. Our stay was made wonderful by Mr. Prabhu and Mr. Vignesh, we got instant euphoria as soon as we entered our room. Staffs here go the extra mile to make us feel at home. Loved it.
