We had an amazing stay at the Acacia cottage at Blue Roan County Lodge. Our hosts, Judy and Brian were excellent and they even went through the effort to give us beautiful roses for our stay. We had restful walks, played board games, enjoyed the pool, and watched some DVDs too, all provided by the lodge. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Blue Roan. The dogs had so much fun. The garden is safe and they cannot get out and even the walking areas are closed of so if you have a bit of a busy doggo, they are unable to run away and get lost. The cottage had everything we needed and more. As it was a bit of a cold weekend, the fireplace inside was just the thing to keep the cold out as well as the complimentary sherry. We will definitely visit again. Thanks Judy and team.

I was so surprised; we were greeted with a lovely handwritten note and fresh roses from Judy's garden with some sherry in a beautiful decanter. Loved that the host had such an attention for detail. Everything you could possibly have needed, and more was in the unit. You literally only need to pack your cloths and that is it. Judy was so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Each unit is done in its own personal theme it was so quirky and individualized loved that. The units are very private, and the place was spotlessly clean. The best part was no children allowed but was pet friendly. Perfect for a romantic getaway with your fur babies. It was the coldest weekend of the year, but that didn't get us down and we had a wonderful fireplace with a fire already set up for us upon arrival to keep us cosy and warm, and even a jacuzzi bath. Loved The DVD collection games and library goodies you could take back to your unit. This is not just a place for summer time Judy has taken care of everything even electric blankets. Will rush back very soon. LOVED OUR STAY. Thanks Judy.

Thank you, Judy and Brian, for your exceptional service and hospitality experienced during our weekend stay. You could almost hear the silence and tranquility of the lodge and surrounds. This was exactly what we needed to recharge and unwind a bit. Definitely a place I am looking to return to during the upcoming summer months.
