Rimondi Grand Resort & Spa

Very nice choice! We visited the hotel with my friends during full season and still have nothing bad to say! All stuff really accomodating, food was really nice(especially dinner yum!) , and the resort was huge with numberous pools for us to choose and spend our dayy! Luckily the wheather was very nice not too hot and we enjoiyed our holiday to the maximum. Evrything was very clean!! Our rooms were really big and we also requested them to be close , which we understood was a big ask during busy season but again reception was really nice so they tried their best! Also stuff on the bars were really friendly! must visit the town and explore the rest of crete too! hotel has some programms whre you can also spend your day in santorini!

Rimondi was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The reception staff was very friendly and welcoming, making check-in quick and easy. My room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a modern bathroom with a rainfall shower, and a great view from the large windows&balcony. The infinity pool was a perfect place to relax, with cozy lounge chairs and refreshing cocktails. The hotel’s restaurant served delicious greek food, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety of fresh options. The location was convenient, close to the city but still peaceful. Housekeeping did a great job keeping my room spotless, and every staff member I interacted with was helpful and professional. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel offers a fabulous view of the ocean with great sunsets.We enjoyed the infinity pool, which offers a relaxing atmosphere and breathtaking scenery, as well the rest of the pools for a great coctail and sun day . The staff is really helpful ensuring a pleasant stay for all visitors. Food is very yummy as well, loads of choices and we got to try greek cuisine. we really enjoyed our stay, must definitely go downtown to rethymnon to explore the city.

Lovely stay! Visited in August 2024! Loved the atmosphere there—everybody was very friendly. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The whole hotel was spotless, including the pools, which was a huge pro. The staff was incredibly attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The food was excellent, with a great variety at the buffet and delicious greek food. 2 restaurants to choose from. Bars were also a fun experience, and they were plenty of them The beach was just a short bus ride away, and the sunsets were breathtaking. Would definitely recommend and would love to visit again!

Beautiful place to stay, a little out of the way but that was what we wanted for this holiday. Our room with swim up pool was amazing. The hotel is located on the side of a hill and there are some steep slopes to navigate! The whole resort was clean and tidy and staff were really friendly but they maybe could do with more staff on reception at busy times as they could be rushed off their feet trying to help everyone. Restaurant Dimitra is where you go for breakfast, lunch and evening meal- it's self service buffet style food. There is a decent selection of things to eat but sometimes it was repetitive. Restaurant Villani is open 11.00-19.00 and provides snacks including pizza and chicken nuggets. There are 3 pools to choose from plus a child's pool. The infinity pool is lovely with stunning views. The bar staff are friendly, especially Manos who was always cheerful. The drinks on the all inclusive package were fab including a cocktail menu. There was entertainment on in the evenings including Greek dancers with (some) audience participation! The hotel provides a free bus down to the beach which is only a 5 minute drive and there are 12 time slots to choose from. You can also book to go to Rethymno town which is €8 return and half price for children under 12 (there are 10 time slots to choose from). We explored the venetian marina, saw the Rimondi fountain and looked round the back streets with little shops tucked away. We also went to the 16th Century Fortezza which has an entry fee of €4 for adults. (We were there at midday in the middle of August- probably more cooler and shadier places to be but an excellent experience none the less!) We had a fabulous week at the Rimondi Grand and I would stay there again but I think it's more of a 4 star rating than 5. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our holiday so enjoyable!

We stayed at Rimondi for 8 nights and loved it. It was a gorgeous stay with amazing views. We did all inclusive. PROS- nice pool areas, lovely service, food was ok, pretty and nice views, fun entertainment CONS- overpriced drinks after the all inclusive shuts, very hilly (needs to make that more known in description), a bit away from shops and restaurants, rooms where very small(we was hardly in them so we didn't mind)
