Mahdia Beach & Aqua Park

I come with my boyfriend for the first time in tunisia and we will come back to this hotel i really like the food in the restaurant so tasty i really like tunisien food and the pool so big the Beach ,the rooms everything was so good And for sure we dont forget the best animation in the hotel thank you so much guys for the best holiday ( mary ,sunny,sam, blacky,med………….)

I visited hôtel Mahdia - beach from September 23 to September 29. It was wonderful in all aspects, especially for the animation. There are many games and various programs. In terms of food, it is varied and of high quality. There is a good reception and special programs in the pool and beach and evening parties at the top. I hope to return to this hotel again.

Amazing beach, amazing views, staff are very polite, loads of activities this hotel would be nothing without the animation team iv been twice this year in 3 month because of them. They are amazing with kids. Everyone looked after by staff. Sunny, Omar, kiata, Samuel , Sam and Mary were our favourite from animation team. We will be back to see them again soon. Waiters are also amazing always making sure u are hydrated throughout the day. Pool is lovely and very big. cleaners are on the ball, rooms are always left clean. Will 100% be back again

We have just returned from here and although the staff were lovely I wouldn’t return again. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star, it’s a 3 star at best. The hotel - A dated hotel that is being renovated, we had a newer room compared to my sister which was nice. The balcony however was old and dirty. The shower kept flooding the bathroom floor and a maintenance man came to fix it late at night, letting himself in whilst I was naked in bed and my daughter who was also sleeping naked. There was no warning they would be coming to fix it. Guests are allowed to smoke throughout the hotel, it smells like a giant ash tray and it was very Smokey. Not great for families, I’ve come home with a very sore chest. The towels were stained and old looking grey rather than white, they ain’t changed every day and if you put them on the floor they still fold them back up. The beds very uncomfortable, sheets only changed if you ***** the beds. The food From a British perspective the food was awful. No toast in the mornings, the only positive was the omelette station and crepe station. None of the food was seasoned, it looked pretty but tasted tasteless. I was served RAW CHICKEN from the kebab and bbq station several times. I gave up complaining as they did nothing to change going forward. Ice cream only served in the evening which wasn’t great for kids. Home made bambalino (doughnuts) were very nice and freshly cooked. I felt a lot of the food was appropriate for polish / French. Prunes, olives, salad, grilled aubergines, courgettes and peppers at breakfast. Bird tongue soup, veal stew, a lot of fried fish with the skin and eyes. The water park - Great water park and slides best part of the holiday. The water park isn’t part of the hotel, you have to purchase a wrist band and top it up with money. You have to leave the hotel and walk up to it next door. There was cockroaches in the water park, and the tiles were coated in a very thick brown scum line. The pool The pool was good, swim up bar very nice and pretty, drinks were nice and waiters lovely. Tiles were broken around the pool and dangerous for little ones. Couldn’t smell any chlorine in the pool and there was no toilets nearby, you have to go back into the hotel which seemed really silly. The entertainment Fab entertainment, good dancing unfortunatly our children wanted to go to bed at 8pm and the disco didn’t start until 8:30pm and night entertainment was 9:30pm. The beach Lovely beach and water was very warm and clear. The spa The indoor pool was cold, roof broken and sauna not on, tiles broken. Lovely massages from the girls and reasonably priced. Can only take UK cash into the country and change money at the desk. No card payments used. Transfer from the airport is 2 hours. Over all the kids had a good time despite being very hungry due to the awful food. They lived on chips the entire holiday. The staff were lovely, we gave out £150 in tips to waiters for bring

the animation team were the best part of the holiday! zizou and his team were fabulous always a great laugh. the chefs in the restaurant were so helpful with an allergy. the bar make some amazing drinks, the evening entertainment was always great all round a good holiday!!

I just passed 9 days there with my family, the rooms are clean and large, the food is very diverse and tasty , i also loved the pool especially with the animation team around(much love for them they’re all amazing) , Would definitely recommend

the aircon is the best thing i’ve ever experienced and there drinks are so nice also the beds are very comfy and the entertainment is amazing with funny people and they are really good dancers that will entertain you and they have lots of people come to do shows

I can say that my vacation here was unique, everything was exceptional,from the room to the food and of course the people. The animators were so fun and they made my vacation a paradise,they were full of energy everytime!!!I would definitely come here again. I promise you will forget about all your problems here,with this conditions and people!(I did forgot about mine:)) I'm so sad because I need to go home:( I can't wait to come again!!! Xoxo

PLEASE READ as I am going to be as honest as I can. We have just got back on 18th August from a week stay here with 2 kids (8 year old and 9 year old) and after looking at the reviews before we got here we wasn’t sure we made the right choice. Hotel felt safe as had security guards 24/7 at the gates. Rooms were spacious and cleaned every 2 days and our cleaner was lovely who always went out her way to help. Entertainment was great specially the animation team around the pool they were amazing and the management should give them a pay rise because they work so hard and go an beyond to get you all involved and entertain everyone they are so funny and a credit to the hotel. The Water park was amazing. Downfall for me is the food. Don’t get me wrong they had a great selection of food but with being from the UK the hotel never really catered for us at any meal time. If management do read this please make sure the chefs that cook the chicken on the BBQ make sure it’s cooked properly had it a few times and it was still raw. Kids only had chips and Croissants throughout the holiday. So the overall experience of the holiday was good and rate it 4 out of 5
