Hotel San Francesco

Where do i start. This stay was for our son and now daughter in law's wedding. They chose this hotel because of its location and charm. We dealt with Martina for just about everything we needed, and she and the rest of the hotel staff were more then happy to help in whatever we needed. The whole hotel went above and beyond to make the stay and wedding PERFECT!!! I cannot recommend the hotel more then what is allowed but it is definitely a 10 in our book. Location was perfect, their beach club perfect, rooms fresh and airy and well decorated. This was our 4th trip to this region and was probably one of our best stays ever

The Hotel San Francesco was amazing! This is a family owned hotel who treated us like we were family. We had a beautiful suite with a balcony over looking the ocean. Martina, Luigi and Ang, went out of their way to make our stay special. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back!

Nice little hotel (dog lovers) situated just down an alley off the main street and beach. They do have a small pool on the strip separately the road from the beach. We stayed in room 202 facing the beach side. I recommend getting a higher floor if possible and one more towards the middle like room 307. There are plenty of supermarkets nearby to get snacks et al. The service was very pleasant and the rooms clean. Tile floors, minimalist look

A horrible experience that should be forgotten. I was there in July 2021. I arrived at the hotel, and I asked the gentleman at the reception if, as hotel guests, we have a discount for sunbeds at their private beach. The receptionist answered that in general it's a great offer that you should pay at the reception for the whole stay, that is 20 euros per person, but "if we know a little Russian... maybe we can negotiate differently". We don't know such a language, and we were disgusted by his attitude anyway, with selective prices depending on nationality and appearance... A racist and ugly attitude. On the beach, whoever takes care of the sunbeds, asked us for 12 euros per person, but the other day we were walking around randomly and they took us as unaccommodated tourists at their hotel, asking us only 10 euros... In conclusion, some profiteers, swindlers who make fools of their own guests as well. Poor breakfast, very expensive menus, high prices and poor quality of food in many locations in the resort. Probably the most terrible pasta, with bitter tomato juice and without any taste, I ate there, at an overpriced price. Too bad about the location...because the people leave much to be desired.

Such a lovely hotel in Maiori. The staff are so friendly and helpful and can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely and you could order fresh omelettes each morning. The hotel has a small swimming pool and a private part of the beach across the road which you pay for each day but this guarantees sun beds and an umbrella. The snack bar by the swimming pool is very good and reasonable. The hotel is also very close to the ferry port where you can purchase tickets to Amalfi etc. Overall an enjoyable stay!

The Hotel San Francesco was a nice place to stay in Maiori. The Hotel has it’s own beach access and is one of the few places on the Amalfi Coast with plenty of room to walk along the beach. The hotel is just a short walk from the ferry where you can purchase tickets to visit Minori, Amalfi and Positano. The breakfast staff was great each morning and would bring you freshly made omelets and coffee to start your day.
