We received a free upgrade from the kind hotel concierge lady upon checking in, we were so surprised and pleased by this upgrade. From city view to partial haram view, it was amazing masha Allah! The room was so big! The musollah was gorgeous despite the unexpected size, as I thought it would be bigger. I love the set up of the restaurant buffet, so during breakfast it feels cozy and homey but I wish there would be more variety of food like the other jabal omar hotels that we have stayed before. It could be due to their sustainability efforts so that could contribute to less food waste, I guess? As for the location wise, walking down was easy to the haram however going back by walking up the hill after completion of umrah was quite painful. We would appreciate if the hotel provide a thorough video explanation of the shuttle bus access during check ins. But other than that, we managed to figure out the shuttle bus service and indeed they are very fast *************! We were given late check out as requested ************* so we can maximise our prayers in the masjid as we have a late night flight. Do take note that uber taxis does not pick up from the hotel except for Careem. Hopefully they will open up a mall within the Address Hotel itself so that it will be easy to find lunch and dinner for our meals. We ordered dinner through room service for our first night and despite the food came an hour later, the portion size and the taste was so scrumptious and yummy! Definitely worth more to pay for the room service rather than paying for the meals at the buffet restaurant!

Really nice 5* hotel only small thing to keep in mind is you need to take a shuttle which takes you to a lift to the masjid. Apart from that hotel was really clean and big and had an amazing view of the masjid from my window, would recommend

The food was fresh, diverse, and absolutely delicious. The staff was courteous and always ready to assist. The hotel’s location was another highlight – close to many shops and attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring Guangzhou. I highly recommend Guangzhou Planet Concept Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a memorable stay. It’s definitely become one of my favorites!

The A/C in the room 2-2107 stop working. We called the maintenance department and 10 minutes later a technician came. After checking the temperature and the system on the ceiling he found nothing. He said you need to be removed to another room. We called back the receptionist and they said get ready to be transferred to another room. From 10.45 to 14.30 no one turned up after 3 visits to the reception. Each time they said someone is coming to take you to the other room 2-1815

The distance is near haram, but back to hotel is slightly uphill. I booked junior suite at tower 1 we can only eat at club floor at tower 2. So we had to change lift etc and when we arrived there..it was super limited options even there was no egg station.

I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel, which overall offers a decent experience. The hotel is notably clean and boasts a partial view of the Kaaba from Tower 2, 8th floor. However, the view is not of the Kaaba itself, but rather its surroundings. Unfortunately, the alternative view from the room overlooks a construction site, which is quite unpleasant. One downside is the lack of some basic amenities: there were no toothbrushes or hairdryers provided in the room, which I would expect from a 5-star establishment. On a positive note, the shuttle service to the Haram is excellent—it's very fast, taking only about 3 minutes, and there's no waiting time. This convenience is a major plus for anyone looking to visit the Haram frequently. Despite a few shortcomings, the hotel is okay for a 5-star rating, mainly due to its cleanliness and efficient shuttle service.
