Vintage Inn Jonker Walk Melaka recensioner

Stayed at Vintage Inn @ Melaka as a budget-friendly option during my trip to Melaka. The location is quite convenient(near Melaka Riverside & walkable to Jonker Street, Dutch Square) and the price is affordable, which makes it appealing for short stays or backpackers. However, cleanliness left something to be desired, especially in the shared bathrooms, which could use more frequent cleaning and maintenance. The overall atmosphere of the inn is okay, but a little more attention to hygiene would really improve the experience.

Budget hotel good for cheap price. Showers and washroom (outside of room) could be better maintained. Hope next time provide slippers for washroom.

The only positive thing to say is that the guy at the front desk was nice and helpful. All the rest was disappointing. We (2 people) had a reservation for two nights but after the first night we changed to another accomodation. -The place is dirty. You can smell that it has not been cleaned in deep nor ventilated in a very long time. -It is impossible to sleep because the shops on the street right below make noise and play music until 2 am at least. Also, the hostel is located in a very big avenue and you can hear the noise from cars all night long. -Not all rooms have windows but this is not clear when booking. We booked two single rooms and there was a window in the pictures. However, when we arrived we had been allocated rooms without windows. I asked the guy at the reception to be moved to other rooms and he agreed. He even gave us a bigger room for one of us. Nevertheless the rooms were worst that what you could anticipate from the pictures. Even though the price for a room at this hostel is low, it is not worth it as there are other accomodations in Melaka for around the same price which are much better.

IT WAS WORTH MONEY SPEND, WAS GREAT COZY PLACE TO LIVE. WENT FOR BUSINESS TRIP NEED PLACE TO LIVE, LOCATION WAS WONDERFULL

It was all good.. the only problem is they mix up male and female in the same dormitaries... I dont mind but say if the cuatomer was a muslim female of courae it wont be suitable to be staying with a strangers male in the same room

Not very far from Malacca historic centre. The name of the accommodation is only available around the corner of the building / on the exterior of building. So you may miss it if you look too closely (no name at the staircase entrance). Need to pay 50MYR deposit when check-in (you get a receipt and then when you return the locker keys, you get back the deposit and sign on the receipt). There is an electric boiler in shower room but I could not find the switch to turn it on. I did not bother to find a staff as it was late at night.

i wish they could have a smoking room outside, and not inside the hall where the smell of smoke easily goes inside the rooms

The room is small, and toilet is outside in the common area. Aircon is moderate, with a ceiling fan. The bed is considered clean.Staff is super friendly, and location is near to Jonker Street.

The room was street sided and very very loud! I could not get enough rest and relaxation. The service was very friendly but I would not stay here again!
