The Sterling Boutique Hotel Melaka

Room was dated and mouldy, lots of mosquitoes, I think they open all the doors while they clean the rooms, so everyday when we came back there were more mosquitoes in the room, and we found the patio door unlocked (when we left the room we locked it) , which poses security hazard. Wallpaper in the room was very dated and covered with black spots of mould. Carpet felt very humid, we must turn on the dehumidifier all day. Cleanliness is barely a par. The room had no hot water on the first night. Breakfast was minimal, we regret paying extra for it, after the first morning, we just ditched the remaining days and opted for the great varieties out there in Melaka. Did not use the big bath tub where we found some small bugs and it was raining a lot, did not expect the tub to be outdoor from the room titled description. Reception was attentive and friendly. Staff were helpful and accommodating, they immediately tried to fix the hot water in our room after our call to reception. Thank you very much.

We booked 2 superior double rooms on 19- 21 March 2025. We stayed at level 2 (highest floor). Location : The hotel is located conveniently about 5 mins walk from the Jonkers street. Amenities: The room is equipped with basic hotel items such as bathroom towel, shower gel, shampoo, toothbrush/toothpaste set, refrigerator, hairdryer, bedroom slipper. Very spacious shower area. It does not come with face towel so bring yours if you need it. Only 2 hangers given, but okay with us. The aircon had some vibration sound. We called the front desk and they quickly responded by sending someone up to check on the aircon. Parking: The hotel provides complimentary parking lots and there were plenty of lots in there. Checkout was fast. Generally pleased with the price we paid. May book again.

Location is near to Jonker street, 15 mins walking distance with young children. Room deco is a bit outdated. Walking after dark in the surrounding is not safe. Have to pass by the little India shop area to get back to hotel. Parking is available but limited lot. Drinking water dispenser is available at the lobby.

Overall the room is very clean. Location is very good, with parking at the premise available and around 10 minites walk to Jonker Street. The staff is also very friendly, greeting is everytime they saw us. There is also a filter water machine right outside our room which is a big plus. However, I think the wall is not that good with noise, can help a bit on the neighbour room. But overall, we had a very nice and comfy stay. Will definiyely come back if ever visit Melaka again.

The location is very friendly and save my time for looking parking.

We booked a room with bathtub. Bathtub so big and the room also big. Comfortable to fit 4pax. Overall everything is good. A lot parking space and secure location
