Hotel Domus recensioner

I found a very bad smell in the room and I think that the price-quality ratio is not great. otherwise the service at the reception is good and the location is not bad either (10 minutes walk to the beach).

Very nice hotel, good room with airco and nice bed. 5 minutes walking distance from the beach.

El hotel esta justo en Pedregalejo, zona para comer estupenda y se puede ir andando. Se puede ir con el coche ya que aunque no cuente con parking, hay zona blanca en los alrededores,

Nos gusta mucho la zona de pedregalejo, por lo que siempre buscamos hacer una escapada por allí. Hemos estado en varios por esra zona, y como instalaciones y servicio creo que ha sido el mejor. Las habitaciones: son muy grandes, incluso para tres personas, además creo que se puede pedir que te pongan otra cama en la parte de arriba del armario... y sería para una familia de 4 o de 5. Buena climatizacion, el aire no te da directamente en la cara. Por poner una pega, la ducha está un poco oscura, pero no demasiado. Ubicacion: es muy buena, cerca de la playa y de muchas bares de esra zona. Es verdad que hay qye subir una cuesta de unos 180 metros... Lo recomiendo.

Communication loss. Arrived early morning . Hubby put in code & pulled up tab per instruction but no key. Tried several times , had to ring lady who tried to help but what she called a tab was a SWITCH in English. Delivery man helped us and entered in. Went to room & key wouldn’t open the door. Ring again and lady came. She told us that some plastic on back rubbed off key !! We not stupid but new key & no apologies . Room very basic, clean , comfy bed but like student accommodation. Near beach, good restaurants but only good for one night , bathroom could only fit one @ a time.

After having our phones and bank cards stolen on our last evening in Malaga we were completely stuck. The receptionist lady (Mariangeles?) went above and beyond to help us. Although she spoke little English she lent us her phone to speak to the police, printed off our boarding passes for us, gave us bottles of water and when we had to travel miles to the tourist police station with all of our things she gave us 5 euros out of her own pocket so we could get the bus. Her kindness and generosity made an awful day much better and I cried with gratitude and hugged her. For that alone I cannot recommend this place enough! I really hope she finds this review and knows just how much her act of kindness meant to us. The room itself was huge, clean and in a great location. Perfect for our needs and if we return we shall most definitely be staying here again.

Booked the hotel through Bebsy.nl. Was not sure what to expect. The staff was really nice! A few tried their best to speak english which was a relief. They are not grumpy when we dont speak spanish like the waiters here in Malaga do… I requested a twin instead of a double very last minute, they helped me right away (email)! The room was clean and neat. There were little packets of shower gel and shampoo. They cleaned the room every time you go out, new packets and towels. The water smells like bleach and the locals do not prefer it. I suggest buying a bit bottle of water at the carrefour (supermarket) nearby! There is a vending machine with cheap drinks at the reception. They dont serve breakfast but they have coffee and a croissant or toast untill 10:00am. I recommend going to the restaurants at the beach, which is a 5 minute walk with cute houses. We are two girls and felt safe walking here, no weird guys haha. There is airconditioning in the room!! Its. 3 minute walk to the bus stop which has 3-4 busses that go to the city centre. You can only pay with coins, no card or paper bills. Its 1,40 per person for 1 ride. The beach beds are 5 euro per person or a bit higher, just have cash with you at all times. Uber to rhe airport is 30-35 euros. Uber to the city centre is 9 euros in the day and 16 euros in the nighttime. If you want to see the skyline, take a boat tour :) cocktails are cheap lol.

Todo depende de las expectativas. Es una hotel para pasar la noche, sin más. Si esperas un lugar pequeño, con una tostada de pan y café de desayuno, toallas algo pequeñas y a veces con alguna manchita, y no te importa que te tuerzan el gesto, es tu sitio. Pero no esperes más. Me recordó a mi etapa de mochilero

Es una habitación grande, se ve un hotel nuevo y muy limpio, con su terracita. Es bastante cómodo alojarse y estar a gusto y el personal es agradable. Lo malo, que por ejemplo en mi habitación no había nevera, la tele no funcionaba porque el cable de la antena estaba deshilachado y se desmontaba solo, el botón pequeño de la cisterna no funcionaba y se escucha absolutamente todo porque las paredes no insonorizan. Independientemente el hotel para ser de 1 estrella está muy bien aunque tengas que bajar escaleras para ir a la playa o cualquier sitio andando.

Aunque el hotel es de 1 estrella, puedo decirte que he Estado en muchos de 4 que no tenían la misma calidad. La habitación muy grande, el baño estupendo. En la entrada hay una zona al aire libre donde tomar un café o comer tu propia comida fresco y tranquilo. El personal muy amable y el precio muy adecuado. Muy cerca de la playa de pedregalejo, unos 10 minutos andando.

nos dijeron que el desayuno era hasta las 10:30, bajamos a las 9:55 y nos dicen que el desayuno es hasta las 10, que no nos ofrecen nada habiéndolo pagado. El trato de esa mujer fatal, destacó que el trato de la mujer que nos atendió a la entrada al hotel fue genial. La habitación huele a huevo podrido.
