Eco Hotel Benacus

Great experience, amazing location and such lovely staff. Anna who was always there at breakfast went above and beyond. The place was immaculate and spotless, would very highly recommend. Malcesine only twenty five mins away, spar shop right opposite the hotel and restaurants right across the road! From Ireland

Me and my wife stayed here for 5 days and the staff could not have been more friendly! The hotel was always very clean short walk or taxi to town centre.

We've stayed at the Benacus 4 or 5 times now over the years. It's very clean and well maintained with a good breakfast and Roberto and his staff are very helpful and hardworking. We hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Very beautiful hotel with a nice swimming pool and very close to the promenade next to the lake, you only have to cross the street and you can go down and you are at the Lake where you have a nice promenade to Malcesine. Hotel is very clean and the owners are superfriendly. You can rent a bike at the hotel and you can park your car at the parking of the hotel behind a gate that is closed at night. The breakfast has all you can wish for and also there a very friendly lady will help you if you need something. If we come back to Malcesine we will certainly book this hotel again.

Hotel Benacus is a fabulous hotel. We had an amazing 5 nights there. The hotel is beautiful, pristine rooms, beautiful grounds and views and amazing staff who are all extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and you are met with a smile from everyone. The breakfast was wonderful, an excellent choice of hot food, cold food, pastries, cakes, fruit, yoghurt and fresh honey. We found it extremely easy to get to from our previous stay in Florence. The train is 2 hours from Florence to Peschiera and then a bus stop outside the station takes you on a bus for an hour and a half along the lake to practically outside the hotel. This is a beautiful journey. Malcesine is a stunning town, extremely pretty and is a lovely walk away from the hotel, 20 minutes along the lakeside path which is just beautiful. There are bars along the way. So lovely to sit on the grass on bean bags sipping Hugos! We also borrowed the hotel bikes one day which was wonderful. We took the track along the lake and stopped and swam at different little beaches. We could have stayed here forever! I cannot praise the hotel and the staff enough and can only say that our stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you!

Fantastic hotel, really clean, amazing breakfast, lovely staff and really helpful, would definitely recommend. It is about a 20 min walk from the town but it's a lovely safe walk along the lake with a few bars and restaurants on the way. We didn't feel the need to hire a car
