What a beautiful little hideaway. Babs is awesome and the chef was amazing. The staff were so good and the stay was so lovely. Definitely going back. Thank you Babs.

I am sorry to say this was not a good experience our first room was dirty the bed linen was not clean the hot water was almost non existing and grossly overpriced even the manager agreed with all our complaints. We have paid less and had a lot better ,had we been given the room we were moved to because our floor was flooded we may not have complained as we said not a good experience

Lovely room with view. Manager Babs was very nice and cleaner found my lost hearing aid. Everything was lovely though there wasn’t a bedside light. But I had a torch so it was ok.

No breakfast although we paid for it. No chambermaid services example bed not made up tea cups and tea making not replenished each day

Travelled three hours to get .no parking.anywhere .and then get told hotels been shut down.not impressed

Pub closed! It never happened! We arrived on Saturday 14th June to find pub had been shut by Environmental Health on Friday 13th, citing a rat infestation & general lack of cleanliness. We had to make alternative arrangements. Later, Babs, the manager, rang citing electrical failure as reason for closure & apologising. She could have told us on Friday. I rang back several times & left messages so that we could discuss the situation. There was no further response from her.

Strange arrangement getting to and from your room. Clean and quiet, but the bathroom needs some work, wobbly toilet on a lean and it looks like it’s been replaced but no one could be bothered to tidy up where the old one was. And breakfast at 9am is just too late. In fairness, they did a work around with the evening meal to compensate, but overall an odd hotel. If you want a nice view though, go for it!

Loved it here Loved our stay there. Very friendly staff and enjoyed the breakfast. Rooms are good with a great view over the harbour.

Quirky but comfortable Quirky and comfortable. Room was not level but expected in a pub this old Radiator was very noisy so I turned it off which sorted it nicely Green emergency lighting in room tended to light up the room too much Lovely view from the room overlooking the quay which you can’t better If you are driving, parking is very limited outside with just an hour between 9 and 7 pm. I got around this by parking from 6 pm to 10 am but it can fill quick Plenty of car parks are available at cost nearby 10 min walk which have free motorcycle parking Breakfast was good
