JW Marriott Maldives Kaafu Atoll Island Resort

We were taken care of by Daiana who was excellent. Always available , clear in communication, got it done. The Chef's Table curated for us was mediocre . As was the food overall in all the restaurants. The diving centre was very good. Good instruction and alertness. Good equipment. The shop was average. The service staff were friendly and warm but service was average.

My daughter and I had an amazing stay at the resort this month! The most incredibly warm and welcoming hospitality from all staff. My daughter loved the kids club and all the activities such as island treasure hunt and movie night. The over water villa was stunning, spacious and beautiful contemporary design. Great food, small but nice gym and great snorkel trip to swim with nurse sharks and sting rays! Fantastic convenience being 15 min from airport! We didn’t want to leave- thank you to all the team at JW Marriott Kaafu!

amazing food amazing service crystal clear waters rooms exceptional needs more free activities though incredible massage but above usual prices finally you can hear and see the airplanes from airport which some ppl would not like but would definitely recommend

I am happy to write an outstanding review of the JW Marriott Kaafu Atoll. This is perhaps one of the nicest Marriott properties that I have stayed on. All the pictures represented on the Marriott website are accurate. From arrival to departure, the staff are always there for you to make your stay enjoyable. As a titanium member, we were allowed a late check out of 7:00 PM since the resort was not full. A special thanks to Eddie, our butler, Cherry at the breakfast bufffet, and Feraz who taught us about the local culture. The food, although a bit pricey, was always delicious and well prepared. They have an excellent dive center too. We look forward to returning next year. Thank you everyone for such a memorable stay. Doug and Kim

The JW Marriott Kaafu Atol is a beautiful hotel. Our entire stay was simply beautiful. The location is stunning, the facilities are amazing - all in all it was a wonderful holiday. The true gems of the entire stay were the staff - they truly made this holiday sensational. There was nothing we could not ask that they would not go above and beyond for us. Special shout out goes to Aaish, Cherry, Yaish and Rianna! They were just the best. I have to especially thank Athu and Deepesh - in the resturant - they were attentive and so very accommodating and there was nothing we asked for that they didn’t deliver and more! They were truly fantastic! They truly made our stay truly memorable!

Our stay at JW Marriott Maldives was truly unforgettable. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt goodbyes, everything exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to Mr. Musthafeez, the hotel manager, whose genuine care and attention to every guest made us feel truly valued. His kindness and professionalism set the tone for the entire experience. The food was exceptional — honestly, among the best we’ve had across all the luxury resorts we’ve visited in the Maldives. Huge appreciation to Chef Jae Yong Cha, the Executive Chef, for the delicious variety and unforgettable flavors. The spa was pure bliss — far beyond the average massage experience. It was relaxing, healing, and delivered with true expertise. We’re also especially thankful to Miru, who was available 24/7, always helpful and attentive — even to the smallest needs of our kids The Kids Club team was absolutely wonderful — caring, creative, and full of positive energy. They made sure our daughters had the best time, and that meant so much to us as parents. Honestly, the entire team at JW Marriott deserves recognition. The resort is not only luxurious and elegant, but also calm, welcoming, and family-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful yet high-end experience in the Maldives.
