Maleme Mare

Wonderful experience at Maleme Mare!! I had a great time at Maleme Mare. The location is beautiful, right next to the sea, with a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. What I appreciated the most was the friendly and helpful staff – they always made me feel welcome. I highly recommend Maleme Mare to anyone visiting Crete. Definitely a place I would come back to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent stay with my husband . From the first moment we felt welcomed !!! The room was spotless and comfortable. The pools were spacious. The food was unique for an all Inclusive concept . We are definitely coming back next year .

Well we stayed here for one week and everything was so perfect!!! Rooms food staff no words to describe . Everything was 5 stars!!! We had an amazing time at the entertainment nights dancing and singing altogether. We are definitely coming back next year !!! Take care all of you and thank you very much once more!!!

Lovely small hotel. Gorgeous pool areas, with modern and comfortable sun loungers. No need to get up early, as enough loungers for everyone. Hotel is very relaxed. Staff all friendly and made you feel welcome. Entertainment 2/3 nights per week. Karaoke was good, but I wouldn't bother with the rest. We had a modern, clean, large room for a family of 4. 2 teenagers, so the bathroom set up made it a little challenging for changing etc. the shower cubicle and toilet have a door each, so it did mean someone can use the toilet and another the shower, but limited privacy. Personal preference. Our room had a great view of the pool and sea, with a large balcony. Location was in a quiet area, but plenty of restaurants in walking distance, plus shops. We used the tourist bus every other day, which is cheap and simple to use. Every 30 minutes and picks up and drops off outside the hotel. If you're wanting action on your doorstep, this isn't the place. The only reason I didn't score a 5 was the food. Breakfast was the best meal of the day, all though not having fresh juice was a miss. Lunch is what you would expect and something for everyone, however we found pork to be the choice of meat everyday, or meat on the bone that didn't look appealing. Food was average, but if you're happy with pork and meat on the bone, you'll be happy. Drinks have been mentioned on a previous review. Very limited, which didn't bother us, but if you like variety, you'll be disappointed. I also thought bar closing at 10:30pm was a bit early. Overall happy, and would return. w

We had an amazing stay at Maleme Mare. The resort is clean and spacious with two pools and and nice clean beach just across the road. Hotel is also very family friendly and doesn't feel overcrowded. Overall it has a very relaxed vibe and food was also amazing. Staff were fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful with everything we needed. Big shout out to Alex, Elena, Nikos, Stavros and everyone else that took such an amazing care of us. We enjoyed our girls trip so much and will definitely be coming back again!

Me and my 2 teenagers have just returned from a lovely holiday at this hotel. We had an executive suite room overlooking the pool and the room was newly refurbished to a great standard. It was lovely and clean and a great size. The whole hotel was well looked after and right on the beach. The staff were accommodating and very warm and friendly. It is a small all inclusive hotel and has got a really relaxed vibe. The food was always fresh and there was a good choice. The beach is pebble/sand and the water is beautifully clear. There are only a few hotels nearby so it is peaceful and quiet and sunbeds were always available (at an extra cost). The hotel is a short walk from a supermarket and a few shops and bars. The bus stop is really near and in 10 minutes you can be in the busy resort of Platanias which has got bars, shops, restaurants and clubs. Chania town is a 30 minute bus ride away which is a beautiful vibrant town and definitely worth a visit. I would also like to mention our Jet2 rep Lia who helped us arrange some day trips. She was warm and friendly and full of local knowledge. Thank you to the Maleme Mare hotel for a wonderful holiday!
