It was my first visit to Mallacoota, and I scored with my booking to the Shady Gully Caravan Park. The cabin was exactly what I was after with great facilities. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. Being a hobbyist photographer, the location was fantastic with the close bushland providing some great bird photo opportunities, along with kangaroos, wallabies and a koala with a joey. I will be travelling to Mallacoota again, and Shady Gully Caravan Park will be my choice for accommodation.

Really enjoyed our stay at Shady Gully in our van on a powered site near the undercover outdoor camp kitchen. Park is well maintained and amenities are very clean. I would happily recommend Shady Gully to others. Thanks Kris and Theo for a great experience.

Park is very clean & tidy. Cabin was great, kitchen spacious but bathroom was a squeeze. Unit was very clean & comfortable, shame we lost our power after a heavy rain storm. Lovely lady on reception. The CP was away from main town a short distance but was very quiet and peaceful, people using it would mostly be retired couples. Can certainly recommend staying in Shady Gully CP.

Escape the crowds on the foreshore! This is a delightful green and spacious small park that provides a perfect retreat only 1km from the centre of Mallacoota with an easy walk to town if you’re so inclined. Warmly welcoming and helpful host, refreshed roomy bathrooms, great showers, kitchen and outdoor barbecue/living spaces plus small pool and good internet connection too. It’s surrounded by forest and the bird calls are beautiful.

A really lovely campground a short distance to Mallacoota centre. Lovely sites and superbly clean amenities block. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful - offering information on where to eat, what to see, DVDs to watch, letting us pick our site (as it wasn’t very busy they suggested we used 2 sites and spread out!) Would definitely stay again.

Mallacoota what a hidden gem! This is a lovely classic old style caravan park nestled in the bush. The amenities are very clean and tidy. We found Chris to be a lovely hostess, thank you Chirs. Love the area so beautiful and quiet. We will be back.

Fabulous stop over. Lovely kitchen area and separate BBQ area. Spacious toilet and shower facilities and laundry. All scrupulously clean. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. So nice to have a flexible check out time and have a relaxed morning. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the very quiet and peaceful Shady Gully Caravan Park. The cabin was clean and well maintained with all the necessary provisions and amenities. The BBQ area was also clean and well maintained and centrally located.

The cabin was very clean but quite small considering we were in it for 5 nights. It could also have been a little better equipped for a longer stay. However the staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was great.I would stay there again but be a bit more discerning regarding the choice of cabin.
