Terrible experience-Not at all worth the money I spent I recently stayed at Hotel Regenta Place Green Leaf, Manali and it was definitely one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Claiming to be a 4 star hotel, it lacked the basic amenities that even a 2 star hotel would provide. Straight from the room to the service and management, everything was disappointing. 1. I had booked a deluxe room and it is shameful to say that the room and the toilets were stinking and unclean. 2. The body towels, door mats, blankets looked used and had stains. The handwash, bodywash, shampoo none of it was refilled before assigning the rooms. 3. One of the rooms I had booked had no cupboard, the other had no fan and the table glass was also cracked. 4. The water hearing jar was stinking and had a broken lid. 5. They provided new water bottles the first day(after asking for it). The next day I kept the bottles next to the dustbin hoping they would throw it while cleaning but instead, they picked up the bottles from near the dustbin, filled them with God knows which water and put them back on the table. Like seriously?? 6. Some of my family members had severe headache after spending the entire day at Rohtang and ordered for some medicines. The housekeeping staff told us the medicines were at the reception and will be brought to the room in a few minutes. But guess what, the medicines never arrived!! The next morning we found out the medicines were never even bought in the first place. Like I have no words to say how terrible of a hotel this is. 7. The housekeeping service and restaurant staff were extremely slow, unattentive and unresponsive. 8. There was also very poor treatment towards our driver. He was made to sit on the restaurant kitchen floor to have food and when asked for drinking water, he was given water from the tap. On one of the days, he wasn’t even served food that we had ordered for him and the staff told him nothing was ordered. This hotel is filled with liars and disgusting people who lack basic hospitality and humanity. 9. Moreover, to prove how terrible of a hotel it is, they tried to cheat us in the final billing. Because we had a bad experience at the hotel, we paid close attention to the bill and figured out they had charged us an extra of 3,500 rupees. SUCH CHEATERS!!! OVERALL, THIS HOTEL COMPLETELY RUINED OUR MOOD FOR OUR FAMILY VACATION AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. PLEASE SPEND YOUR MONEY IN A PLACE THAT KNOWS HOW TO TREAT ITS GUESTS PROPERLY.
