The Novotel Al Danu hotel has the potential to be a top-notch hotel, but unfortunately, it is not. The beginning and arrival were fantastic, an older gentleman gave us a room right by the beach with a superb view. American marines are staying at the hotel, otherwise, the hotel is empty, the beach is deserted, the loungers are empty. The beach is excellent, and the sea is right there, which is a big advantage for the hotel. We had a half-board service, which is rare. The room is large and spacious, which is a plus. What I liked the least was the staff in the Zeytoun restaurant, who were rude, cold, and uninterested. The breakfast was repetitive and monotonous, and for dinner, since no one dines, we had to choose between two dishes. The hotel is heavily advertised on social media, but it’s always empty, and Bahrainis come over during the day to swim or dine at the restaurant. Otherwise, everything is empty. Sometimes disco parties are organized, giving the hotel a different vibe. The reception staff, especially a receptionist from the Far East, was completely unfamiliar with the city of Manama and generally uninformed. During our stay, the air conditioning unit leaked, and the cleaning staff only cleaned the room around 5 p.m., which is unacceptable, and we had to ask the reception twice to clean the room. The advantages of the hotel are that it is directly on the beach, and the rooms are spacious. the downside of the hotel is the staff, especially in the restaurants, and the food is average. special greeting for male staff at the reception and for Sadik, he is he is very polite and great worker.
