Port River Hotel - All Inclusive

Just arrived and been insulted by one of the reception staff 🥲 Completely rude and aggressive and not interested in sorting an issue Hotel seems nice let’s hope the aggression calms down 🫣

Hotel it self I wouldn’t say was a 5 star, I would say should be a 4! Overall hotel was clean rooms cleaned daily, clean towels mini bar stocked up! Beds are pretty uncomfortable but still managed to sleep ok. Swimming pool is very clean and staff are constantly walking around cleaning up, was never an issue getting a sunbed as there is enough for everyone! We stayed for a week and enjoyed our holiday the only thing that lets this hotel down is the food, everyday is the same stuff and doesn’t look or taste very nice, we basically just lived off the snack bar food that was pizza, chips, burgers etc! All the drinks was good! We had our pictures taken by the hotel professional photographer they was very good, and also the bloke from the spa his name is tiger he was very helpful. I wouldn’t come back to this hotel just for the reason of the food letting it down but other than that we had a great holiday!

Just arrived home after a 10 day stay, two adults , one 14 year old …. Staff are fantastic, so I cannot understand the reviews regarding the staff (reception and pool bar especially) nothing is too much trouble , we had a few room issues that were fixed immediately at 4 am when we arrived ! Rooms are basic, clean enough , towels changed daily - bed is very uncomfortable and a bit dated Pool exceptionally clean, constant flow of staff ensuring nothing is left laying around . No fight for sunbeds which is a plus Food let’s the place down - it’s awful in the restaurant, snack bar is good - was a huge let down but we didn’t starve. Entertainment and animation team are no good, however the music up in the bar from 10-11pm is good in the evening Beach - 5 min walk, tired and run down, no restaurants or bars , only ones tied to hotel which are not great but again, no one starved . Beach is a bit unsanitary but still ok All in all a great holiday , would I return, no- but that’s not to say we didn’t have a good time

We lover the hotel with my gf we enjoyed everything night shows,pool side, beach all good and also we loved the animation team they were so nice
