The room is bad of smell and noisy. The facilities are very old. It near the station.

Very nice hotel great service. The staff was fabulous helped in every way they could. Food was brilliant hotel was clean ,it’s in a great place near to Piccadilly station trams and buses it’s not far from the arndale centre and deansgate one lady who does the breakfast was unbelievable can’t remember her name but she was there Monday morning . The only downside was the rooms are small

Well, the room itself was good, small but well thought out except that there is no light switch by the bed. Comfortable bed, decent TV and compact but fully functional shower room with an excellent power shower. Check-in was simple, just had to pay an extra £1 for the Manchester tourist tax. And the location is very good, in the University area by the Graphene institute and a few minutes walk from the main drag and Piccadilly station. But the breakfast! Oh dear. I was welcomed and informed I could sit anywhere but every table was dirty, not a clean place anywhere, and only a few places were set with cutlery. Found a relatively clean table eventually then went to the self-service buffet. Good selection of food but the hot food - eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, tomoatoes, mushrooms, hash browns - was old and cold. Breakfast is from 7 to 10 am. I got there at 9 and I think the food had been put out at 7. Just about edible but not great. You could have played tennis with the rubbery eggs. Only small coffee/tea cups available, and quite randomly laid out. Unfortunately it was free (at least, included in the room rate) so couldn't even get a refund. Take the room, but go out for breakfast!

Spent one night here, all things good, the breakfast is good as well, worth the price

Quite a good place if you are looking to stay in the city centre, I had a good time here. As a traveller, I must say their facilities are a bit average, don't go there with high expectations.

The hotel is my last option and the most close to the conference, not too expensive comparing with other hotels during this time of year at Manchester. However, you better prepared with toothpaste and toothbrush, shower cup and few other things. The breakfast is ok, not many options nor there is not much left if you go there after 9 am.

This is an old hotel. The room is small and not very clean, like heavy dust on the furnitures. The bath drain pipe is not function well. The window is not in good condition. The only advantage is good location and the price is relatively low.

The hotel was clean and friendly although the room had some parts that needed some attention. I couldn't find any heater to keep my room nice and warm so it was cold. There was a small wall mounted heater under the window but this did not work. I stayed for three nights and was awoken every night in the small hours by other people entering or departing their rooms. I know this is something that the hotel can't control very well but it did spoil what was a decent hotel.

Great location great staff. Welcoming and easy check in and quiet hotel with not much noise which is relaxing

From when we arrived till when we left service and food was excellent staff were fantastic nothing was to much trouble, 10 out of 10,

A budget price on the day for a short night on my way to the airport. If you want something compact, then this might be for you. On a good day, I think you could get better deals in Manchester with somewhere more spacious, clean and a variety of amenities.

Just like a normal hotel. Room not cleaned thoroughly. Some sticky stuff on the surface of furniture

Nicole was lovely on reception but the room was very disappointing. The room look old and dated and was very small..marks on woodwork I couldn't keep the curtains open as people walking passed and the room was on their level The toilet didn't flush The cold water in sink just dribbled There was no air con and stuffy and hot Lights terrible in bedroom very dull Breakfast....no fruit no pastries when we went down at 9.30 breakfast was running until 11..!!! Real shame 😔
